Morning all, really grey here this morning and forecast is for really heavy rain and gale force winds this afternoon, not looking forward to that!
I was going to ask where too bubbs as I've only got half a box left and need to get some more soon. My consultant mentioned at group on Thursday that The Food Warehouse have finally started stocking them - they've always had the vegetarian ones but not the rosemary and red onion ones. I think they're normally £2 so that's quite a good saving.
Had to get up fairly early this morning to follow DH on his scooter this morning for it to go in for a repair - just hoping it's not going to cost too much as I don't have much in the budget for his scooter so will have to find the money from another budget.
Only just had breakfast so much later than usual so probably won't have lunch until about 2pm and that in turn will make dinner a bit later so probably 7.30ish! I don't like eating any later than that to be honest.
Today's plan:
B - kedgeree - P; S; F
L - LO lamb tagine; herby couscous or LO sweet chilli noodles (have already sinned the sweet chilli sauce so not counting today!) - P; S; F
D - keema curry, rice - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned
Syns - might open a bottle of wine as a change from rum, depends whether DH fancies sharing a bottle as I don't want to end up drinking the whole bottle!
A lot a rice today but never mind. Have a good day everyone.

Thanks bubbs. I'll definitely get some. I mainly just use them for stuffing balls but it does add something to roast chicken. Not worth buying at full price though.
It's grey and blustery here too so won't be going out if I can help it. I've had a busy week with 2 lots of dancing and 2 meals out so a quiet day pottering will suit me just fine. 😊 I took the meat out of the freezer so will put savoury mince in the SC for later in the week and batch cook more swede & carrot mash while I'm listening to the radio.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), beetroot (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S), noodles (F)
Syns- honey for sauce 2.5, weekend wine😉0 -
Afternoon all, I’m still here (just) mojo isn’t though so if anyone finds a spare one can you point it in my direction 😳
Well a !!!!!! week finished off being shittier when the pup yanked me off my feet, this 50+ body does not bounce back like it used to so I’m in a bit of pain 🥴. Walked away with small graze on thigh but my back and arm are so painful (muscular). Laid up on sofa ‘resting’ 🙄.
Am actually on holiday with hubby for a change although he has 2 weeks so will still be off when I go back (unless we have extra week as circuit breaker).
Hope everyone is staying safe, have a good weekend all 🤗Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good to see you again TIE. Sorry to hear about your fall - just rest up and let DH wait on you for a bit and enjoy your holiday as much as you can. Let DH walk the pup for a while until you have healed properly. I'm sure your mojo will find its way back home eventually!
Take care.1 -
Evening all!
TIE - pup photo required! Hope you're ok though x
well today has certainly been a duvet day but I arranged to go running with my friend this morning, & her being my jiminy cricket, didn't call it off so did a 5km 1st thing...and I even managed to run up the hill I usually walk up so am well pleased with that.
Haven't done much - everything being in lockdown #2 - but did plan our meals for next week & updated our c&c order for Monday.Tonight's tea was basically an italian chicken stew...very nice it was too!1 -
Well done on the run. That looks nice GTS. Is that mashed sweet potato with it? What makes it an Italian chicken stew?
Over syns again yesterday so will keep them low today to bring me back into sync!
Today's plan:
B - SW fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
L - Welsh rarebit - HEB; HEA; P; F
D - Jamie Oliver Tender Lamb Shoulder - it's a slow cooked spiced lamb shoulder with chickpeas, tomatoes and preserved lemon. It's from his Quick and Easy TV programme and it looked really nice but needs cooking for 6 hours in the oven! I'm going to do a tray of roasted veg to have with it and the leftovers can sit in the fridge to pick at!
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2

That JO lamb looks delicious denise, hope it turns out well. I use one of his recipes for pork shoulder. That's cooked on a trivet of veg and they often don't make it to the table. Cook's perks. 😉

It works with boneless too and takes more like 2 hours. 😊
I've portioned up four lots of savoury mince for the freezer and the same for swede & carrot mash and kept some of that out for today. I found a small portion of Bolognese in the freezer for my lunch. I'm hoping to put a portion of sliced beef away today for another meal and have some for the stew I did a couple of weeks ago.
I've got a few things on this week but ,fortunately, none of them should involve eating out. Having drawn a line after my night out , I'm hoping to stay well on plan until I have to weigh a week on Thursday. I feel as if I'm at the top of range but if I can't get back in during grace week I can live with it. I almost feel I should donate £5 to my consultant as she's had a tough time financially since March.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with Bolognese (P,S) , beetroot (S)
D- roast beef (P), SW roast potatoes and parsnips (F), many, many vegetables (S)
Syns- horseradish 1, gravy 4, weekend wine😀1
