Oooh savoury mince! 😋 I love that bubbs and we haven't had it in ages. I've got some mince in the freezer so I'll make some this weekend. 😁 I generally have one ' meat and 2 veg' (or in our case 4 or more veg 😉) meal each week on top of Sunday roast so that'll make a nice change from sausages or chops. And it's free so no gravy to syn. 😁

Glad it's all sorted with your sister. ☺️

I think halibut is a flat fish so it was rolled around the salmon mousse. It was very nice and good to go somewhere with fresh veg (much though I love chips).

Morning all.  I also really like halibut maman, in fact I love all fish and seafood.  We're going out for dinner next Friday (fingers crossed!) and I've already scoped the menu so I can have a fish based starter and main

Not a lot happening here at the moment, been carrying on with the nightly walks but the workouts haven't happened the past two mornings because my sleep is a bit all over the place and I'd rather spend the time in bed instead!  Breakfast this morning was a throw back to when I was growing up of dry weetabix, spread with flora and some blueberries on the side.  Is that just weird or did anyone else's parents give them that for breakfast?  Lunch will be more veggie chilli and then dinner tonight is HM chicken in black bean sauce.  Right need to stop procrastinating, hope you all have a good day.

Morning all, not long back from WI and shopping; got into Mr Ts and realised I'd left my shopping list at home so had to try and remember what I needed to buy - think I did quite well as I didn't buy anything that wasn't on the list and only forgot a couple things and couldn't get one thing which I knew was on the list!  Forgot I needed some peppers and some smoked haddock, neither of which are desperate so can wait until we need to go out on Saturday.  DH needs to take his scooter in for a bit of maintenance - typically he's going to get soaked as it's forecast to be the worse day of the weekend!  I have to follow him in the car so he can get home.

Well WI was far better than I'd anticipated as only put on 0.5lb so looks like the damage limitation worked Monday to Wednesday; and I even had a cheese omelette for breakfast before I left home - I'm not going hungry for anyone!

Do you make your own black bean sauce or use a jar ruby?

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - P; HEA2
    L - burger & onions in WM roll - HEB; S; 1
    D - fish pie, green veg - P; S; F; 4

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - burger 1; cheese sauce mix 4; couple of rum & ginger beer 5

We had Weetabix like that too ruby (spread with butter😋) but more likely as a snack than for breakfast. Cream crackers with clotted cream was another. My aunt used to post it from Cornwall.

Another potentially off plan meal today. I'm not feeling guilty about it because anything could happen with the Covid regulations and any social life emerging could come to an end🙁.  As it is, we have to go out at 5pm to be finished before 10!

The set meal tonight is a smoked salmon starter followed by chicken in some sort of sauce and I've already told DH he can have my pudding. That's not really a SW decision but because I really don't enjoy much in the way of sweet stuff. I'm disappointed  that they're not offering an alternative like cheese. 😋 (DH has said 'yes, please' despite barely fitting into his dinner suit. 🤣).

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried eggs, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- cold meat (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), beetroot (S)
    D and Syns- tbc😉

    Afternoon all

Well physio was ok, he has given me some exercises to do, but need to wait for the band to be sent in the post. Physio don't deal with feet 🙄 so he said i needed to contact the GP, which i did and just had a telephone appointment, I was beginning to think was it me? Where does it hurt, on the instep, so inside your foot? No, on the top, oh so the side at the top, NO the instep the top of my foot between the toes and the ankle !! !!!!!!!! They are a doctor and don't know where the instep is 🙈🙈 The end result is an ultra sound as had xray's beginning of the year and that just shows a deformity in my foot!

Maman hope you have a nice evening

    Well done Denise 😁

  • Bubbs - when I go to the doctors he'll quite openly use google ....now if I did that he'd tell me off!

Maman - hope you have a good time ...from tomorrow we're in a lockdown situation so I know of some people who are having one last hooharh tonight (well as much as you can until 10pm)

Joedenise - sorry yes I realised you posted the mix after I'd posted. Will definitely try that.

I'm a little annoyed with SW at the moment ..as we're in lockdown from 6pm tomorrow she's moved the class from Saturday to tomorrow which is ok in itself but I'll be weighing virtually. I've been told I can't use the countdown that I bought when physical weigh ins restarted. Why I don't know.

anyway I worked off my frustration with a 5km run !

tonight's tea was Mexican spiced salmon with rice....very nice!
