Morning all! Hope you're feeling less stiff now bubbs and congratulations on your news sary!
Nothing much to report here, had a rather chilled weekend and went to a friend's to hang out in his garden yesterday bit other than that nothing exciting happening.
Happy to report another 1lb loss this week which I have no idea where it came from but I'll take it. Mixed things up this morning and did a cardio dance workout that I found on youtube, almost killed me! Still not as fit as I thought yetHad porridge with raspberries and almond milk for breakfast this morning and will have some kimchi fried rice for lunch with an egg and dinner is going to be lasagne with salad and green beans. Hope you all have a good day!

Morning all, a dull, dreary day today. Glad I didn't leave my washing until today but got it all done yesterday and everything dried and put away except for one of DH's jumpers but that can go away this morning as it's dry now.
Have had to change my menu plan for today as haven't got something I need so it's going to be a Green day today which of course means I can have an extra HEA and HEB if I want something later, perhaps cheese & crackers! So today's plan:
B - eggs on toast - P; HEB
L - carrot soup made with the stock from yesterday's bacon - S; F
D - butternut squash & chickpea jalfrezi, rice - P; S; F (trying the jalfrezi sauce from the Two Chubby Cubs website recommended by maman!)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned

Well done on the pound ruby. It all helps.😊
Hope you like the curry sauce denise. I tried it because the ingredients/recipe were simple and I had everything in. I added peppers and mushrooms to the original recipe, just because I had them in and can't resist a bit more Speed although the sauce is just tomato and onion anyway.
We're out twice this week, fortunately only once in each syn bank IYSWIM. I was meeting a girlfriend on Wednesday for lunch. Left to ourselves, we'd have gone to a cafe and had a JP and a catch up but now the DHs have decided to join us so it's a country pub instead! Thursday we have a black tie event (postponed 3 times since March) but it's a set menu which looks OK if I give DH my pudding! It's the wine syns that sabotage me. Next week I must take myself in hand and be a bit stricter. 😉 Yesterday I did pick at some of the pork crackling so today it's going in the bin.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold pork (P), fried potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), carrots, cauli steaks, broccoli, mange tout, tomato, mushrooms (S)
Syns- 2 (sadly it's YS salmon with a glaze)1 -
Morning all, 1.75 pounds off, annoying you cant do quarter pounds on the app but it is what it is – was out for a family meal on Saturday night I had steak yum. Iv also had tiger bread again this weekend with lurpak again yum but totally back on track once again. I don’t even feel off track after eating out and the tiger bread its real life if that makes sense. I made some soup yesterday, not a slimming world recipe but still healthy. Onion, leek, carrot, turnip, stock and instead of bacon lardons I used very lean bacon medallions and then blitz. Lovely.
B: fruit and fibre milk
L: soup chicken breast
D : SW beef ragu and pasta (going to use some of this to mix it up a bit later in the week to make a lasagne)
congratulations @sarymclary1 -
I'll be adding extra veg too maman. Like you I've got mushrooms and peppers so will be chucking those in too and will finish with some spinach (got some frozen out this morning to defrost). I'm using my home grown butternut squash and the chickpeas are some that I cooked a week or so ago and froze. There are too many for the curry so make do some spicy chickpeas to have as a side.
My extra syns are invariably on rum which is where they went yesterday but one of the them was really strong which DH got for me - I'm pretty certain it was probably a double, double! well that's what I've counted it as just to be on the safe side so a bit of damage limitations still needed this week!
I wouldn't worry too much about a couple of syns; it's not many in the scheme of things!
