Yes, that's what I bought last week but you can never tell how many of the Super 6 will be available. ☹️
  • I tried to get Les Mis tickets as well Maman but gave up almost immediately as when I entered the site I was number 12000+. Bubbs, we've got 3 shows as well pushed back to 2021 though I am aware of one show in my local theatre postponed a show from July until 2022.

Joedenise, the delivery service was from Mindful Chef - if you go to their website there's a link at the bottom to all their recipes (as I said it seems a strange business model!!) - here's tonight offering for 1 syn ....Teriyaki Chicken with carrot mash & tenderstem broccoli

Thanks @GTS.  Will check it out.  Not anything I'll be doing this weekend though!

DH has decided as it's cold we could do with electric rather than just the batteries so we are moving on to a proper campsite, obviously a lot more expensive than Canterbury P&R which is where we currently are.  It's somewhere we visit quite regularly as it only costs £3.50 a day.  Nowhere else that cheap unfortunately.

    On plan today:
B - boiled eggs and asparagus
L - burger in WM roll with onions
D - keema curry and rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM roll

    Morning all!

I miss the theatre too and have two things pushed back to next year - one being 101 Dalmatians at the Regents Park open air theatre which is a venue I love.  Fingers crossed it all goes ahead but who knows anything anymore.

Still feeling a bit fragile this morning with my back but my migraine has almost gone!  No workout again this morning but I went for a long slow walk yesterday evening.  Ended up having a ham salad sandwich for lunch yesterday and then kimchi fried rice for dinner because it was what I fancied.  Had overnight oats for breakfast today and will probably have leftover Bolognese for lunch and then lamb kebabs for dinner tonight with lots of salad.  Hope you all have a good day!

Meant to say I actually managed to grow a few butternut squash this year.  Think I've got 5 stored and anotherv2 still on the plants not ripened yet.  Will bring them in to ripen if the haven't by the end of the month.

  • I have lost track on where I am theatre wise, know all of my bookings for this year have been postponed to next year.  I  really miss going.  I saw Judy Dench being interviewed once and she said that she loves doing theatre as each performance is a premiere the audience gets to see, can't remember who was interviewing but they asked quizzically "how?" Response, "actors never do things identically on stage to previous performance, they may stand 1" differently in a scene and things like that" When you think about it, that is so logical.

Have had a week from hell so despite planning to eat from freezer, I didn't and managed to go so far off plan for the weekend that I didn't care what I ate. Managed to pull it back so came away with a maintain which I was very happy with.  Setting myself a mission to put £10 for each 1lb loss between now and Christmas and treat myself. Now what do I buy to encourage me? :persevere:
A smile costs little but creates much :)

You did well to STS gtq.😊 Hopefully you  can write yourself a plan to use up freezer food this week. I did that last week, didn't need to buy any meat/fish at all so my shopping was very cheap indeed. It cleared a bit of space in the freezer too.

Thanks for the heads up on Mindful Chef gts, I'll take a look.

I have to do my meal plan, list and shop today. It's working out well going shopping after I've been dancing on a Friday afternoon. It saves an extra trip.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, broccoli, mange tout, tomato (S), garlic mushrooms (S,HEA2)
    Syns- weekend wine😀
