Has anyone made any ot the Two Chubby Cubs recipes? Their book is on offer on Amazon for £6.50 so I was just wondering if it's any good, not too complicated using loads of ingredients. Thanks.
£6.50 is a good price and they do have some good recipes. It's not much more than a week's SW fee! Their recipes are online but it's very irritating scrolling through all the adverts and they're questionable 'humorous' comments to get to the actual recipes so the book might be easier to use.
Thanks. I'll have a look online first I think. I know £6.50 isn't much but I bought the Pinch of Nom one, I really dislike that name, and haven't used it once  :)

@minimad1970 I'd be wary of their website if you're easily offended!  To be honest I don't like that bit about it.  I haven't used their website for a long time.  I'm not sure I'd buy their book but at £6.50 it might be worth a punt.  Not overkeen on the PON one either.

My favourite SW recipe website is probably SlimmingEats but the search facility isn't brilliant but she's got some good recipes on it.

I think they're ok but in small doses, they try a bit too hard to be amusing. I also like Slimmingeats  :)

My friend bought pinch of nom and I just took pics of some of the recipes, much easier than scrolling through the adverts on the website!

Span last night, then I had my HM soup and a chicken breast, it was an extra tasty one but the syn value was low.

    Today

    B: fruit and fibre milk

L: soup and chicken breast (only one portion of soup to go ha)

D : tuna bp salad or gammon veg and bp – not decided yet

    Morning all!

minimad - I bought the TCC book on kindle when it was 99p and it has a lot of different recipes there that aren't on the website.  DH really likes the one pot creamy leek and sausage bake that I've made from there.  Haven't really had a chance to explore the book much but it seems ok.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who's "accidentally" causing their other half's to lose weight   Did another workout this morning and will definitely go for another walk this evening.  Had overnight oats again for breakfast and may have a fry up for lunch today but definitely having Bolognese for dinner tonight.  Hope you all have a good day.

No need to slink back in GTS!  Walk in boldly you're always welcome.

Been a busy day as we've decided to go away for the weekend in the motorhome as the forecast is for a cold but dry one.  This of course necessitated another shop rather than go tomorrow morning after group, although not going to group now.  Have messaged my consultant but she hasn't replied yet.

Have had to rejig my menu plan yet again as some of what I was going to cook just isn't viable in the motorhome - ie chips!  I was going to make fish and chips but now we're going to eat out instead but I've said we'll go somewhere like Weatherspoons where I can have something other than fish and chips!  I usually have gammon, egg & jacket with side salad.

Have already put clothes in the motorhome plus the frozen food.  Just need to pack the fridge in the morning after breakfast.  Probably won't get on over the long weekend as where we're going has a carp mobile signal.

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats; mixed frozen fruit; Greek yoghurt -  HEB; P; S;
    L - Coronation chicken in a mini wrap with lettuce - S; P; F; 6.5
    D - beef casserole; mash - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - WW wrap 5.5; marmalade 1
