I have to grate the stuff in maman because DH doesn't like a lot of veg - it's like having a child and I have to hide it in whatever we're having.

Yes I found that really annoying too maman.  Do you also get the message about updating your card?  That finally went when I WI'd in this week.

I think it said to update the card when I'd been to WI so can't do that yet. I suppose it's because groups have reopened but I think sending a reminder over and over again 4 weeks early is ridiculous! Is your consultant still updating your weight because you can't go to group bubbs?🤔

Shame about your DH and the veg ruby but at least you (and he) are having the healthy stuff even if he doesn't know it.😁 My DH happened to be in the kitchen last weekend when I was making gravy and pulled a face when I added a tsp of Marmite. Then he said 'But I don't eat Marmite!'. Oh yes he does! What the eye doesn't see😉

I portioned up the Bolognese I made yesterday. That's 4x2 portions for the freezer and 1 small one left for me for my lunch tomorrow.

I called in to Home Bargains for a few bits this afternoon. I only go there every couple of months so stocking up rather than stockpiling.😁 As well as household stuff (cleaning materials very limited in Aldi recently) I bought noodles, pickled cabbage, beetroot and bacon. It does have water in it denise but it tastes nice.

    Well done Klew and Ruby.

Well What a bloody day i have had!,

Broke a tooth, rang the dentist, 1st check up appointment May 17th 🤣 but going to ring back about my tooth tomorrow, it's not painful just keeps catching on my lip

Went to pick dh up, sat outside, turned the car off then it wouldn't start, dead as a doe doe! He goes back in work and asks the other bloke if he had any jump leads......no, so off i toddle to the garage down the rd and asked if he could help a damsel in distress 🤣 asked me what the matter was , told him he came with his power pack and gave me a jump start and said battery is knackered  so by this time it's !!!!!! it down 🙄

I really needed petrol but dare not turn the car off, but pulled over to google the battery place, ring them yes they have a battery. Off we go down there £103.20 lighter we come back, dh fits it in the pouring rain , but at least it's done.

Come home and broke a dish.......that's my 3 things 🤣
Just had tea and made this fish and chips , my it was lush 😍😍😍
    This was brunch

Oh dear bubbs, an eventful day and an expensive one to boot!  Mind you it's going to be another expensive day when you manage to get a dental appointment!

Fish and chips looks great.  What do you coat your fish with?

I used instant mash loads of black pepper and  a little salt, dipped the fish in beaten egg , placed the fish on a frylighted tray and put the fish on then put the coasting on and fry lighted it so it was lovely and crunchy , i only used about 15g of mash was really lovely will def make it again

Ouch!  to the expensive day bubbs. ☹️
Doesn't your dentist do emergency appointments?
I don't do Facebook but my consultant is really good about getting back to me if I text/phone her.
I tried doing that with fish but it turned out soggy. Did you dry the fish? Was it fresh /frozen? 🤔
