My dentist is doing fewer appointments through the day because of big gaps between for cleaning. Sounds like yours is only cleaning once a day. 🤔
I did spray my fish, IIRC cod, but maybe not enough. I'll try again. 😉😊

    Morning all.

Yes maman, DH rarely comes in the kitchen when I'm cooking so he has no idea half of the things I chuck in there for him   He did mention that he needed new jeans the other day because he's lost weight recently and doesn't know why.  What he doesn't realise is that I've been slowly reducing the amount of meat and carbs in his meals and upping the veg content.  Not only is it healthier, it's also working out cheaper shopping wise   I should point out he's not exactly wasting away and he still has his 4 weetabix for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, snacks and over a pint of whole milk a day.  Its just his dinners that I'm responsible for.

Sorry to hear of your stressful and expensive day yesterday bubbs.  Hope you can get an appointment for your tooth soon.  I got a notification telling me that I was overdue for a check-up a couple of weeks ago but they're still only making appointments for treatments, not that I'm worried about it, I hate going to the dentist!

We had a stressful Sunday and Monday where our toilet was leaking into the kitchen but I resisted turning to food for comfort which is a big step forward for me because I'm usually such an emotional eater.  Think it's sorted now (the plumbers are back this morning) and I had a lovely big sleep last night.  Actually managed to force myself out of bed to do a workout this morning, had my overnight oats and now cracking on with work.  Planning on having shakshuka again for lunch and then KFC for dinner this evening.  Hope you all have a good day.

I think we probably all do the same ruby.  My DH was completely unaware of why he was losing weight when he was at work but he certainly knows now!  He was amazed that I was actually eating 3 good meals a day while he just had his breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and then the healthy SW meal in the evening.  He soon found out then he retired a few years ago!  He now enjoys 3 SW meals a day with me; plus he usually has some toast & marmalade but it's still within plan 'cos men are allowed 25 syns a day (so unfair!)

Hope your leak is finally sorted too!  Horrible having a leak especially into the kitchen.

    Today's plan:

    B - eggs & baked beans on toast - HEB; P; F
    L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - P; S; F
    D - mixed bean goulash & rice - P; S; F (using the dried mixed beans I cooked yesterday)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned (not that I've got many left, LOL!)

Thanks for the heads up on the asparagus bubbs.  Hopefully they'll have some when I go to Mr Ts on Thursday after group.  Absolutely love asparagus especially dipped in boiled eggs!
  • Can I join please? I've put on a stone over the last 6 months and I can't seem to get the motivation to stay on plan. I don't have the funds to be going to group at the moment but I reached target before so know all of the basics and have my boks.

    Today is a new day!
    B - I haven't actually eaten!
L- Roasted tomato sauce, lo green beans, kidney beans and vermicelli - grated cheese
D - spag bol and more green beans

need to think of what I'm going to have to snack on in the evening which is my downfall

Welcome DNM. 😊 You're not the only one not going to a group so do ask if you need any syn values.

Good idea to plan ahead for evening snacking. Should be easy enough if you haven't had your HEB and possibly have one HEA left. What about cheese on toast?  I tend to have my dinner quite late (7.30 p.m.) so I'm rarely hungry enough to need anything else but when I do I either have something savoury like ham wrapped around spring onions or occasionally  Greek yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit chopped into it or sometimes both!😁

My DH and I mostly only eat the same dinners too ruby so it's enough to keep him fairly slim. We have breakfast together but he doesn't eat eggs and I don't eat his sugary muesli so unless it's porridge then we eat different things. Lunchtime he always does his own thing with sandwiches and biscuits but I always have a proper meal. Fortunately DH loves vegetables so he's brilliant with SW meals. We've been having regular veggie meals (mushroom stroganoff and veggie chilli ) lately and he's been enjoying them too. 😊

We're going out for the day tomorrow so will have lunch out. Hopefully it'll be somewhere that does SW friendly food but treats are few and far between at the moment so I'll play it by ear.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), pickles (S)
    D- sausage casserole (S,P,F) with tagliatelle (F)
    Syns- sausages 1

It's a 'cowboy' version of sausage casserole with baked beans and bacon but I'll get onion, courgette, carrots and mushrooms in there too!😁

I also don’t go to group, but I have never been to group, its just not for me. I am an online member where I find the app helpful but probably wont need to keep it up all the time once we know the basics.

The sausage casserole sounds nice, something different @maman
