Thanks for the welcomes! Honestly it's just total lack of willpower/self sabotaging that stops me. I must have joined SW 7 times in my life and never lost more than half a stone. BUT I feel different this time, not sure why but I think I've just finally had a lightbulb moment that I need to do this. I'm 20 stone so really need a lifestyle change. I live in leggings and loose dresses because nothing else fits  :(

My wife lost 3.5 stone last time we joined 18 months ago! And has kept it off. So I know it can be done.

Sorry for the silly question but is there a way of going straight to the threads I'm on? I'm still learning this forum but had to search through my old posts to find this thread again, is there an easier way? Thanks in advance!

Don't worry, we're all in the same boat with the site since they changed it all a while back. ☹️
If you look just above the first post on a page, right hand corner, there's an outline of a bookmark (next to a cog for editing posts) . Click on that and you should see your bookmarked threads when you log on. HTH. 😉

TIE :( better luck this week x
Well i had sausage/bacon and mushroom egg wraps for brunch and 2 pears, tea was the famous picky tea, just finished actually, ice cream will be later 😋😋WSE, you sound like you are in the right mind set now, few of us here at target, me being one of them for just over 2 yrs, but we have that little bubble of 3lb either way and tbh i have found it easier since we have been on lockdown.
Plan your meals as i think this will help you , at least know today what you are eating tomorrow, but seeing as we are only supposed to go shopping once  a week at the minute you should do them for the week so you have the right foods in

    Hi everyone.

Weigh in today-2.5lb off so achieved my half stone award-9lb in total so far B)B)

Welcome WSE-I’ve done the same as you-started a few times, only lasted a handful of weeks and then given up. I started again two weeks ago as well, but needing to do this for some health reasons among other things. Am trying to be more organised with meal planning and finding some yummy low-syn snacks to munch during the day and generally trying to make it a lifestyle change rather than a diet.

    B x

Well done on your loss and your half stone shiny Beth. 👏👏👏

We enjoyed the sweet and sour. I'm calling it 3 syns each. It was 1.5 each for 4 portions but that would only be a drizzle over some meat. We had a huge amount of stir fry so needed more sauce. It'll go into my recipe file as DH likes it but I'm just as happy with my honey recipe which is less work and 2.5 syns.😉

Morning all, what a change in the weather!  It's grey and overcast this morning.

Not planning on doing much today, just a bit of housework, making some syn free falafels for snacks; lunch; then some crafting this afternoon before cooking dinner.  May fit in a walk too if it warms up a bit - it can be very bracing along the seafront!

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F
L - tuna and cucumber roll - HEB; P; S; 0.5 for LTL mayo instead of spread
    D - roast chicken, roasted veg, cabbage, peas - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM roll
    Syns - LTL mayo 0.5
