Thanks for the sweet and sour recipes. That gives me more to try.
Well done on getting back to target denise. I constantly seem to be bobbing along at the top end, but I won't know for sure until WIs start up again. I'd say that may not be until July if Boris' message is anything to go by although it was very muddled so can't be sure.
I've made the turkey rissoles before, as bite size snacks but today I'm making them more burger like for a meal. They're basically turkey mince, couscous, spring onions and spices.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), ham, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold pork (P), 2 potatoes (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- turkey rissoles (P,F), SW chips (F), broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms (S)
Syns- 0!

The rissoles sound nice maman, what spices do you add to them as I'm sure turkey mince is pretty bland, well chicken mince is! even roast chicken is pretty bland. It would be something different to do for a dinner some time.
I think you're right, can't see us being back before July and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it's August!
I've been hovering around top end (and over when I was on holiday and just after I was back) for a long time so I'm really pleased my scales are showing me back at target. On idea how with the amount of alcohol I consumed on Friday! although not had any since so that's a bonus. Don't think I'm likely to have anything this week, or if I do it'll be because I've still got a reasonable number of syns left on Wednesday, LOL!

The rissoles should have dill, parsley and coriander. I don't have dill so maybe add some tarragon and a dash of Worcester sauce. I'm sure they'll be fine. 😁2

Will definitely give them at go at some time in the future - will need to buy some turkey mince at some stage to do it and my freezers are pretty full at the moment! Trying to work through them as much as possible this month!

Cottage pie was half mashed swede and half potato, inside was courgette, mushroom, onion tinned toms and half a tin of beans. I had to pack that with speed as out of veg😫 Popped Morrisons this morning before i took hubby work and was nothing there
and fruit was sparse

It's strange how shops vary so much with stock bubbs. Maybe it was after a long weekend. Strangely, we went to Aldi for a friend, who's isolating, on Saturday afternoon. I was straight in, no queue and they had plenty of everything. Even better than Thursdays when I've been doing my own shopping.
The turkey burgers went down well. DH had ketchup with his so didn't notice any blandness. Next time I'm going to go more spicy. 😁2 -

Looking to be a better day today, far less wind so I've put a machine load of washing on as I don't think it'll get blown away today like I'm sure it would have done yesterday!
We're the similar bubbs. We often have salad for lunch but always have hot in the evenings. DH would go loopy if I gave him salad in the evening. I wanted to swap lunch and dinner recently as I needed to get some salad but didn't want to go shopping until after lunch and he didn't want to know so ended up having to pop to the farm shop just for the bits of salad I needed and then ended up having to do the rest of the shopping a day or two later.
Today's plan is going to be a Green day:
B - Weetabix; milk; fruit - HEA/HEB; S
L - Jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - P; S; F
D - Mushroom stroganoff; rice - S; F; 2
HEA1 & 2 - milk
HEB1 - Weetabix
HEB2 - Alpen Lights if I want something with a cuppa later (which I seem to be doing lately! never used to be bothered)
Syns - Light soft Philly - 2
