I know what you mean maman; I worry about that too. I bought some biscuits this week because I was fed up with DH eating his chocolate hobnobs and not having anything myself but now regretting it! Won't be buying any more. I don't really need anything usually. Probably also drinking more than before which is why I'm drinking spirits rather than wine as they're lower Syn.

Hope it's ok I'm jumping in to join you all on this thread!
I (re)joined SW two weeks ago so had my second weigh in today. I'm down 6.5lbs so far but I always tend to manage it for a week or two then give up. Determined not to do that this time. I am barely moving in this lockdown so need to not let weight go up and up too.2 -

Welcome WSE, Hope it's ok to call you that?
Well done on your loss, if it helps make sure you write everything down, it's not a diet it's a lifestyle change, so once you start in a few weeks you hopefully will make the right choices.
Why do you give up? If it's hunger there is no need to be hungry, you can eat a vast array of foods and nothing it out of bounds as long as you SYN it
Make sure you eat plenty of speed and drink plenty of water, NAS squash or even diet fizzy

Morning everyone! Another lovely day, make the most of it as the temperature is forecast to drop like a stone tomorrow! Washing all done and it's probably dry but I'll leave it out to air a bit longer.
Welcome WSE. Everyone is welcome. You might find it helpful to post your menu plan on here as a few of us do to help us stay on plan. Although I'm not doing to well at the moment!
We've already been out for our walk this morning and there was hardly anyone else out, probably because it was quite early.
Too many syns yesterday celebrating VE Day so need to cut back syns a bit for the rest of the week! Ended up having fish & chips for dinner!
Today's plan:
B - porridge; frozen mixed fruit - HEB; S
L - cheese on toast - HEA2; 6 syns
D - fish pie, peas which we didn't have last night - P; S; F; 6.5 syns
HEA1 - milk in tea
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - 2 WM bread 6; milk 3; cornflour 0.5; cheese 3

Welcome WSE, good to have you along. You've made an excellent start, almost half a stone already. Not sure what makes you give up under normal circumstances, but I'm finding lockdown is helpful. It means we can't eat out so I'm totally in control of what we eat. As we're only shopping once a week it helps to have a good meal plan and shopping list to go with it. Build in some SW friendly snacks too. Do ask if there's anything we can help with.
I'm rapidly running out of syns too denise.I'm not going to lose sleep over it though and I'll be back on the wagon come Monday. We're having sweet and sour chicken tonight, one of DH's favourites. I'm not sure which recipe to use for the sauce yet (as I found a few in my recipe box) but it'll likely involve tinned pineapple and cornflour.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage, HEA milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with beetroot (S)
D- sweet and sour chicken (P,S) with SW chips and brown rice (F)
Syns- tinned fruit/juice, cornflour, weekend wine
