We rarely have salad unless it's the height of summer. Then we always like chips or new potatoes with it to make a proper meal. I buy tomatoes and spring onions regularly as I can cook with those if we don't eat them fresh.
We've had a good walk this morning around a local country park. It's right on the waterfront so it did me good to have some lungfuls of sea air.I was sorry we hadn't taken a flask with us as it would have been nice to have a coffee sitting in the sun. Many families had taken picnics.
Today's gravy is from the freezer as it was LO on Sunday so syns are already accounted for.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), 2 fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold pork (P), 1 potato (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- Aldi skinny sausages, mash (F), cauli, broccoli, kale, cabbage, onions, carrots (S)
Syns- sausages 1, HP sauce 1

Are they high Syn sausages bubbs or is it the yorkie? If it's the yorkie I make mine with water which reduces the Syns a bit.
Sound like a nice walk maman. Is that Victoria Park? The Camping and Caravan Club often have meets there. Haven't actually been as we're usually in France when most of them take place but if they come up this year, if camping even gets allowed, we might do that!

Same with me. I think my butcher's sausages are probably only 0.5 syn but Syn them at 1 each. You make your yorkie the same way as me then! Think it's why I don't have yorkie very often - haven't usually got enough syns left by Sunday to use 6.5 for one meal, LOL!

Yes, that's right denise. It's the Royal Victoria Country Park. It's the site of the hospital that was established with Florence Nightingale after the Crimean War (only the chapel and cemetery left now). It seemed appropriate on her 200th birthday. 🙂2

Morning all. Have got another load of washing in the machine nearly ready to go out on the line. Not looking brilliant out there but at least there's a bit of wind so should dry nicely.
Clean jeans day today and pleased to say they done up easily so definitely still around target weight!
Trying another new recipe from this month's magazine for dinner tonight for lasagne which uses butternut squash and quark for the white sauce. Thought it sounded better than some of the other white sauce recipes I've seen, like quark mixed with a couple of eggs - that sounds yuk!
So today's plan:
B - Toast; scrambled eggs, beans (don't put them on the toast any more as fed up with soggy toast!) - HEB; P; F
L - Carrot & lentil soup - S; P; F
D - Lasagne with butternut squash sauce; side salad - P; S;F; part HEA2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - parmasan (only about 10g)
Syns - none (haven't got any left as had a couple of glasses of wine last night)
