Saved myself 3.5 syns by not having the butter on the toasted cheese sandwich, yay so should be bang on Syns today.  Had some syn free red onion chutney with the cheese sandwich so a little bit of Speed too.

Enjoy your meal out tomorrow sary and hope your OH has a good birthday.

Thanks Denise.  I predict OH will have the steak and ale pie, if it's on the menu, as that's what he always chooses.  I will see what they have to offer before deciding.  I tend to prefer to save any indulgence for a pudding if there's something I really fancy on the menu.

Keep safe in the storms everyone.

Hope you have a lovely evening tomorrow sary. It amused me that you can predict what your DH will choose. Mine's the same but it's generally Thai fishcake followed by duck for him. I'm more likely to go for a fishy starter and main especially if any mussels or prawns involved. Pudding doesn't do it for me. I'd rather have a cheeseboard. 😋

Another busy day. One of my dancing classes started up again and it was great to be back . I felt really slim in one of my long skirts and energised by the Body Magic. 😁

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA 1 milk
    L - sardines (P), tomato, beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), asparagus, tomato, garlic mushrooms with HEA 2 (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁

My DH's go to when we eat out is fish and chips although occasionally he'll go for something else fishy!  I usually go for a fishy main but try to have something fairly light for starter.  Like you I usually like a cheeseboard but if I'm on holiday I might go for something like sticky toffee pudding!

Glad you enjoyed your dancing maman and great that you feel energised by it.  Great that you felt slim in one of your long skirts.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages; egg; baked beans, tomatoes and mushrooms - P; S; F; 2
    L - steak & onion sandwich - P; S; HEB; 3.5
    D - beef stew, mash, cabbage - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - butter 3.5; sausages 2; may have a rum or 2 this evening if I fancy it, if so another 5

Change of plan for lunch.  Instead of steak & onion sandwich we're going to have steak, coleslaw and salad wrap.  I've got a WW wrap, DH has 2 normal sized ones!

Funny how we can predict what our ohs will choose. It’s usually a curry of some sort for mine. I usually go for something with chicken or steak.
    Today has been
bacon barm with tomato sce - 7 syns ( not a heb barm cake - a very small white one)
dinner jacket potato with cottage cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber
tea - WW wrap heb steak, mushroom, peppers, onions soy sce, ginger and garlic
    snacks - 2 celebration chocs - 4 syns a Jaffa cake 2 1/2 syns - total 13 1/2 syns 😄
    January spends - £587.58

I'm sure I posted this morning but it seems to have disappeared. 🤔

I've cooked a batch of Delia's red cabbage (SW adapted) this afternoon.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L - JP (F), cottage cheese (P), tomatoes, cornichons, beetroot (S)
D- sweet and sour chicken stir fry (P, S), noodles (F)
Syns - weekend wine, sweet and sour sauce 3
The HM sauce is a recipe for 4 (1.5 each) but I don't think it's enough for more than 2 greedy people. 😉

Oh my word, feel like a pig at the moment, made SlimmingEats tomato &turkey casserole, had with a ton of veg and some noodles, was to die for. Had a busy day, put all summer stuff away, loads of washing, housework, had a zoom assessment in Arabic as I really need to do a more intensive course, my tutor is good, but we only have 1 class a week so not enough to progress at a decent rate, so looking at doing additional.

Spotted a request on local Facebook page for a laptop, someone was trying to help someone else out but the end user could only afford to pay £50. I just wanted to get rid of mine, so said they could have it for 12 tins of tomatoes! Another donation for the charity hampers, so we are starting to get there. Would be great if I could get rid of more stuff that way😃

After batch cooking beef stew yesterday I batch cooked a vegetable & red lentil curry.  6 portions of stew and 8 portions of curry in the freezer.  Will be using 2 portions of curry one day this week, probably Tuesday.  The beef stew tonight was lovely.
