Well done on the losses everyone. Especially after coming back from holiday.
I’m back on plan today - providing I don’t receive any more surprise afternoon tea packages.
Breakfast was - omelette with spinach, peppers, onions, ham, cottage cheese 1/2 hea cheese, with baked beans
dinner heb bread making a cheese 1/2 hea and pickle sandwich - 2 syns for a tablespoon of branston pickle
tea - salmon, new potatoes, asparagus. 1 syn for bit of cornflour and milk from hea allowance to make a bit of parsley sauce.
snacks - small piece of cake left from yesterday s afternoon tea - I’ve cut the full slices of cake into 1/4 pieces and wrapped them individually 😄👍. Not sure how many syns but if it’s the only syns I have it shouldn’t take me too far over.
I had a message from my sw consultant asking me if I want to weigh in virtually- I’ve said not - I’ll wait until I’m able to get to group. I’m not paying to do that - although it means I can’t access the sw website. So be it......January spends - £587.581 -
Well done GTQ that the gain wasn't as bad as you'd feared. I think it's often the way. I'd thought I'd put on about half stone while I was away but it wasn't that much but not far short but at least I had 4lb to play with so only about 2.5lb outside top end which as you've probably seen I've managed to shift!
Didn't see the programme maman but certainly sounds very much like SW! It certainly works for those of us that stick with it. It's a shame that people give up when things go wrong in their lives, if only they'd get back on it as soon as they felt able the weight would soon shift again. We've all been there before.
milann if you want any syn values then just shout. As you know there is usually someone around who is able to help. Don't blame you not wanting to pay to weigh. That's the reason I didn't go back to group as soon as I came back from holiday - I like to give myself a couple of weeks to get back in the swing of things and lose any weight I've gained. I only have to weigh every 8 weeks being at target so it's not a problem but even when I wasn't my consultant always used to put me down as authorised absence when I had my long holidays! Not sure she was supposed to but no way would I have been going back after my holidays if you hadn't!
Had a good day yesterday and ended on 13 syns so 2 syns spare to carry forward which will probably be used (and some) today!
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB; 3.5
D - KFC - chicken, corn on cob, chips, beans, salad - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 3.5; weekend wine 15

Morning all. Well done to all the losers this week. That afternoon tea sounds lovely milann, tea and cake just goes so well together. Also didn't see the program maman but certainly sounds SW like.
Last workout of the week ticked off the list and actually noticed that I'm starting to get some definition around the shoulders - you can see a little dip at the top where my shoulder joint is so hopefully burning some fat from the bingo wings as well
Breakfast was overnight oats again and lunch will be another halloumi salad (just using up what's in the fridge) and then dinner tonight is prawn and chorizo stir fry with loads of veg. Still managing to resist the biscuit tin and the 2 orange twirls that I stashed in the cupboard a while ago - I have no idea where this will power is coming from over the last 2 weeks but long may it continue!
Hope everyone has a good day and weekend - I'll be trying to avoid the rain here as much as possible but still going for my walk this evening (that's either dedication or stupidity)

Afternoon all, well done this week's losers.
I braved the scales yesterday morning, and was stunned to see a STS! I mentioned it to OH and he said that maybe it's a psychological thing that eating things off plan, that we know are a bit indulgent made us not eat much more during the day. WE certainly didn't over-eat. I've also noticed that my appetite isn't what it once was, and I'm happier having smaller regular meals, with a snack inbetween.
Plan today:
B - bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, wm toast HEB, ketchup (1)
L - hm soup, banana
Snack - strawberries, mango & nectarine with cream (4)
D - I haven't thought of what to do yet. I have some diced chicken breast to make something with... personally not feeling that, but OH will probably have that and I will think of something for me. Maybe a baked potato, been hankering for one.
Tomorrow is OH's birthday, and I've booked for us to go out to dinner, which is a rarity for us, so it's a night off plan, but the rest of tomorrow will be on. I was going to book a night away but the weather is looking to be so rubbish, we've decided to take a rain check (pardon the pun) until next month instead.
Have a good Fri-yay!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home2 -
Saved myself 3.5 syns by not having the butter on the toasted cheese sandwich, yay so should be bang on Syns today. Had some syn free red onion chutney with the cheese sandwich so a little bit of Speed too.
Enjoy your meal out tomorrow sary and hope your OH has a good birthday.

Denise, are all the Lindahl kvargs 0.5 syns? Got a vanilla one and a stracciatelle one today, 150g each. The white choc one I tried yesterday was so nice! I usually buy Muller Lights when on offer, aiming not to pay more than 35p/pot. These kvargs were 4 for £3 but soooo yummy. I also bought a 38g Lindt Lindor bar of milk choc as a future treat, would love to know syns, thank you.
Maman, I watched that programme last night. One of the girls on it reeled off all the things she had tried and included SW and WW. Sounded to me she ran out of willpower to just stick to it, as we all know either plan works if followed properly.Very wet here in Bucks, found my jacket to be not so waterproof anymore whilst out with dog. Am sure I have a bottle of the re-proofing stuff somewhere, time to dig it out and use it! Hope you all have a good weekend, don’t forget to count those syns.

Good news PIB all the 150g pots of Kvarg are 0.5 syns each.
The Lindt Lindor milk choc is not such good news - 11.5 syns for 38g bar but if chocolate is what you want for a treat then may well be worth it to you.
We all use our syns differently of course. I usually use most of my syns for wine, rum or gin but just occasionally I like a HM pizza using a proper pizza base and using the Tesco pizza base mix I can have half a pizza for 13.5 syns assuming all the toppings are Free! Made a couple while we were on holiday which is how I know the syns. Fortunately I don't often fancy pizza but at least I know I can have one if I do.
I usually make one using a hash brown base but haven't done so for quite a time so may well put onto a future meal plan - but not this month as this month's meal plan is already done. One of the women at my group made a pizza base using grated cauliflower and beaten egg and said it was good so that may be another option to try.
Oops sorry gone a bit off topic!

Thank you both again for syn info. Counting from Monday have so far had only 20, so a few left in the bank for me
. Beef stew happening in the SC, preparing big panful of swede/carrot mash, will freeze some for another day. Found some WW wraps for £1 in Asda, might make one of those into a ‘pizza’, if I get to them before DS and OH eat them all. Still hunting for the jam&toast teabags, no joy today either, making do with biscuit brew
