Great news about your. son PIB  but you really should charge him some housekeeping money even if you don't actually need the money so that he is used to not having his full salary to live on.  It would cost him a lot to live elsewhere.  You can always just save it for him (but don't tell him!) and present him with a nice lump sum when he moves out.

Thanks maman. I've lost about 3lb I think  bubbs  since we got back on Thursday but I think a lot of it was probably water retention as can't see any other way I could have lost that much in a week!  The most I've ever lost is 1.5lb!

bubbs if you look as though you've lost weight but haven't you've probably lost inches which is just as good.

Well done gtq. It's great to get a loss, any loss. 👏👏👏
Did anyone watch the 'How to beat fat' programme? To be  honest, I couldn't see that it varied that much from SW. The 'hacks' they recommended were cooking from scratch, lean protein, don't think of it as a diet, get support from a group, food diary, don't deprive yourself, healthy snacks, getting back on it if you have a bad day, plenty of water. Their guinea pigs had mixed success but the main failing was giving up when they were stressed or general lack of will power. ☹️

    Evening all,
Well done on the loss Denise - great to get back into target so quickly after returning from your holiday.

Bubbs, I do hope things settle with OH and sister.  Always tricky if you're in the middle.  I have that a lot in my home between OH and the kids.

    Plan today:
B - porridge HEB with water, sugar (1), cream (3)
L - HM soup (had time today and yesterday ;)  )
    snack - banana
D - chicken, mushroom, spinach pasta.  Parmesan HEA1
    HEA2 - milk in tea/coffee
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
