Sounds lovely bubbs.  I bought some shin of beef and some braising steak this morning when I went shopping.  Now all prepped and in the freezer.  Love beef stew and braised steak.

Morning all.  Weather forecasters got the weather wrong here!  Was supposed to be dry but cloudy but it's been raining overnight and it's still very damp!  Was going to play golf, only 9 holes as haven't been for a while so not sure I can manage 18 holes yet but not sure whether we're going now.

    Today's plan:

    B - eggs on toast - HEB; P
    L - veg soup - S; F
    D - cauliflower cheese; mini roasties - S; HEA2; F; 4

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - milk/cheese
Syns - cheese sauce mix 4

Looking at that it's an unintentional Green Day so could have a couple of Ryvita later if I fancy them but of course that will mean a few more syns!

  • Morning all!  Definitely soup, stew and porridge weather, basically all the comfort food.  Thanks for the support ladies, lets hope I can see more losses or at least changes in my body in the next few weeks (I also lost 1.5 inches off my waist this week too!)  It's our wedding anniversary a month today and while I can get into the dress I want to wear, I'd feel a bit more comfortable if I had a little more room

Another workout ticked off the list this morning followed by overnight oats which were delicious as I decided to blend raspberries with the yogurt and a little bit of almond milk before stirring into the oats and leaving overnight in the fridge.  Topped with a little bit of honey and tasted perfect.  Will definitely be making more for the rest of the week now.  Lunch is going to be a halloumi salad with some lentils, peppers, tomatoes and mixed leaves and dinner is going to be a SW fry up I think.  Hope you all have a great day!

Clean jeans for me today. I decided as I need to go into the city centre I needed something warmer than leggings.  Shall we say they're snug. 😉 I've decided that I'm going to carry on with my maintaining/treating myself a bit for about a  week then try to get a bit more serious. We're out for lunch next Wednesday  and DH and I have promised ourselves a day out so I want to relax for a little longer. I won't quite be over syns this week but  very close  which is fine for maintaining but a bit too close for comfort for losing.

I'm not hungry at the moment so I may have something when I'm out or a late lunch. Normally I'd call into Pret for a salad but I'm not going to download the app yet  so not sure what contact arrangements are in place for going inside anywhere. I think that's part of the problem with shopping, it's not just any fear of Covid it's the off putting faffing about involved.

I'll post menu later when lunch is resolved. 😊

As the weather brightened up we decided to go and play golf, only done a 9 hole course still at least I got some steps in, now at just over 6,000 which is much higher than I've been doing lately.  Really must get out a bit more but it is a bit worrying as some people are acting as if there is nothing wrong when we're out and about.

I had to put on "proper" trousers today to play golf and they actually feel fine so hopefully I'm near target but won't weigh again until Thursday morning but feels like the weight is coming off now.  Definitely think that if it goes on quickly it'll come off quickly!

my friend used to go to a group where the consultant didn't practise SW! seemed bizarre to me- im just not a fan of going to the groups, i like doing it online. i do fancy buying a food diary but i cant find a 52 week just 12 week ones, i thought it would be handy to look back on good weeks with good losses!
