    Technically not.

Same as it's not safe to be out after 10pm!  The rules are so contradictory at times but we have to try and do the best we can.  It's very difficult to socially distance when out and about as so many people seem to think the virus has gone away and just walk straight at you!  So often DH and I seem to find ourselves crossing the road or even walking in the road just to avoid people!

Trying to get the washing and drying done today, got some done yesterday which has been put away.  Still got another couple of loads of clothes to do and then 2 lots of bedding by which time the bedding on our bed will probably want changing as well.  Just wish we could have a few good drying days but it's another horrible drizzly try day today.

Need to go and get some shopping but want to check the freezers first so I don't end up buying stuff we don't need.  The only urgent thing needed is eggs - down to the last one!

    Today's plan:

    B - eggs on toast - P; HEB
L - cheese salad - HEA2; S (probably soup weather really but I haven't got any made in the inside freezer and it's raining too much to go and check outside but pretty certain there isn't any)
    D - corned beef; fried up boiled potatoes & beans - F; 3

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - corned beef 3

Change of plan!  Found some cubed butternut squash and peppers in the freezer so going to make a butternut & pepper soup for lunch.  Much better considering the weather than cheese salad!

  • Afternoon all.  Day 2 of the conference has just finished and now I just want to curl up in a ball and go to sleep!  Still have a little bit more work to do first though.

Soup sounds good denise - I made a massive batch of a thai turkey stir fry on sunday and it's done me for lunches for the week so far

Had porridge for breakfast again and then for dinner tonight I'm making a buffalo chicken with home made slaw and some chips - that's if the FIL has gone home by then as he's helping DH with a DIY project at the moment.
