You will like it Denise 😊
Me, too, beanie but not sure which sights will be open. I liked the Castle museum and had a great time on a ghost walk.
It was worth eating out twice when you found a really good restaurant denise. My target weight is 10 st 7 but I'm 8 inches taller than you. 🤣

Looking forward to going into York.  Not sure what sights we'll be doing, if any.  Like you say not sure what if anything will be open.  You tend to have to book to visit most places now so suspect we should probably have looked online before now!  We had this problem at Sandringham.  We wanted to do the Gardens but couldn't get a booking until a week after we were there!

Weights are all relative!  With my target weight at your height maman you'd look positively scrawny!  At my height and your target weight I'd be like a barrel, LOL!

    Evening all,
Enjoy York Denise.  It's a lovely part of the world.  Are you going to be travelling about? Knaresborough nearby is very nice, and they have rowing boats (presumably still available if sanitised) you can hire etc.

Bubbs we were in your part of the world last night picking up something OH had bought from a facebook seller (in Wootton) and I gave you a wave   We stopped at the Maccies in Kettering on the way home, where I ate my salad/rice/chicken and he had a McChicken thingy.  I think I was far more full afterwards than he was

    Today's plan:
    B - wm toast with spread (3)
L - savoury rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, YS tikka chicken LF dressing (1.5)
D - chicken tomato pasta with parmesan HEA1
    HEA2 - milk in tea/coffee

I had prepared jelly with fruit & cream for my lunch, but didn't have the time, or in fact the appetite to have it.  I had anticipated I may have it this evening after dinner, but feeling satisfied now too, so saving it for tomorrow's lunch instead.

One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

I’m just about 5 ft tall - a standing joke where dh says I’m 4ft 11. In my youth I used to fluctuate between 7 and 7 1/2 stone. I’m fine boned so the 10 1/2 stone I carried at my heaviest made itself known with high blood pressure and troubled joints. Didn’t do me any good at all....funnily enough i was this weight when my bowel first  perforated too - this time I was just under 10 stone when it happened  earlier this month 🙄 So although I don’t sound heavy it isn’t healthy for me at all.
    today I’ve had
    breakfast
heb toast, peanut butter 3 1/2 and jam 1 syn

Dinner - picky plate with ham, cheese hea, tomato, olives 1/2 syn cucumber

tea - mixed grill of chicken, lamb chop, sausage 2 syns, actifry chips Using fri lite. asparagus, and tomato
snacks - hm cake 6 syns? Hero chocolate 2 syns teaspoon honey 1 syn
    15 syn total 😄
    January spends - £587.58

Milan up until I was about 40 I weighed in at 6 st 7lb!  The weight then started to go and and by the time I started SW I was 9st 5lb and most of the weight seemed to be around my waist and hips and I'd already gone from size 8 to size 12 and was verging on size 14 and decided it would be cheaper to lose weight than have to buy a whole new wardrobe and I had also been suffering from quite bad depression and had been off work for over a year with it so I suspect it was the depression that caused most of the weight gain.

We're moving on this morning so just a quick post with my menu for today:

    B - cheese omelette - part HEA2; P
    L - chicken salad - P; S
    D - HM pizza - P; S; part HEA2 13.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    Syns - pizza base 13.5; 2 x rum 5

A few over but no problem I'm on holiday!

York is lovely, enjoy – even just wandering the streets is enjoyable with all the nooks and crannies.

I feel slimmer today – I woke up like that lol – hope it stays that way for weigh in tomorrow

    Todays menu

    B: fruit and fibre milk

    L: lentil soup boiled eggs

    T: sticky chicken, salad

  • Hi all, been MIA!  Some amazing losses being reported this week, well done all of you, pales my 1/2lb into insignificance, but it is a loss! Plus last week, I was so bloated it felt really uncomfortable, this week the bloating gone and my clothes feel more comfie, so I will take that nsv & my 1/2lb as a good result for the week, especially as I had 2 unexpected off plan days.  Need to be extra good this week as I want to have a good loss, everything going well, am off to Rome next Friday for the weekend, so expecting to syn but also hoping to counter balance with a lot of walking. This will be my first time off this year (well, went to Egypt for the same length of time beginning of Feb, but that was a trip of mercy and was actually only in Alex for 3 days as 4th day was travelling), so desperately hoping that Italy continues to be on the safe list, seems to be the best one at the moment.

Hope all of those having a tough time at the moment start to turn the corner, hugs for you. Denise, enjoy the next stage of your trip.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Well done on your loss gtq. They all count!😉 Have a great time in Rome and remember to stick to tomato based pasta sauces!!😋

I meant to ask bubbs, when you do the garlic mushrooms in cheesy sauce: Do you use chestnut mushrooms or just any ones?  Do you leave the mushrooms whole or slice them?  My DH really loves them and we had a very mean portion this week because I was short of chestnut mushrooms and when I slice them 150g (as per recipe) doesn't seem to go far. 🤔

I need to do my meal plan for the week and shop later but I know what we're having today. 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- Fake  KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
    Syns- weekend wine 😁
