You're right maman the meal was absolutely delicious.  I said to DH we haven't actually spent any of our holiday money budget yet as so far we've only spent on eating out, fuel and groceries all of which have their own budgets!  However I've had to move some of the holiday budget money into the eating out budget today so that we can eat out again tomorrow!  Hopefully there will be enough to eat out in York as well as tomorrow but if not I'll just have to move some money Holiday budget over!

We're at Sutton on Sea in Lincolnshire at the moment.  We're here until Friday morning.  After that we're moving up to a campsite near York so that we can go into York.  I'm hoping we'll be near the Park & Ride rather than having to try and find somewhere to park the scooter.  We couldn't find anywhere to park the scooter in Kings Lynn a while back and ended up in a Lidl carpark with an hour and half free which was OK as we needed some shopping anyway but it would have been nice to not have to worry about the time.

Joe Denise I Don’t know if you like walking - but if we go to York we usually get parked near the racecourse and walk in with no restrictions on parking. It’s about an half hours walk. We’ve even parked and got the local bus in from the race course. Have a lovely time.

bubbs it's HEB for 3 slices of the Kingsmill crustless bread not 4.  I actually prefer to have 2 800g slices of Morrisons wholemeal or Nevilles wholemeal!  It feels like a proper sandwich, although if you like a Club Sandwich the 3 slices of crustless is OK!

Thanks milann for the parking info.

Were you saying that cutting the crusts off 4 slices yourself is the right weight for a HEB? 🤔

Yes i know Denise, but if you weigh normal slices with crusts cut off you can have 4 from 800g loaf

It's worth knowing especially if you liked sandwiches for lunch/work. 😁
