It's a case of having to plan to be honest as we're not very often near shops so try to do a decent sized shop when we do go.  Only just managed to get today's shopping in the top box and under the seat as bought more than usual but as I said it should last us for a week.  No idea what shops will be near us when we move to the next site on Monday!  Will have to do some shopping whilst there as what I've planned will mostly run out by Wednesday/Thursday.

Will plan for the following week probably Tuesday or Wednesday night depending on how the food's going.

If anyone likes cottage cheese Danone Free and Easy Grilled Vegetable and Thyme cottage cheese is only half syn for the full 210g tub.  I'm definitely going to try this as often have plain cottage cheese on a jacket and both DH and I like it but I think the flavoured one could be good too.  Would probably work well in a crustless quiche but have to admit don't make them very often as DH isn't keen and I can't eat a whole one.  Really ought to get myself some individual dishes then I might make it a bit more often.

Great to see you again maman.  Don't know whether you saw my message but actually deleted it yesterday as it didn't look like you could see it!!!

Great that you got back into range in your grace week - at least it was only half you needed to lose to get there and an extra half pound to boot!  Onwards and downwards!

As you can imagine with being on holiday I'm not being 100% so no idea how much I'll have put on by the end of the month when we go home but not going back to group until mid October so hopefully be able to get back into range by then!

Not sure what's happening today yet!  DH is fishing at the moment, said he'd only fish for a couple of hours but we'll see!  We're going into town when he comes back so think we may well eat out but I'll try and be fairly sensible particularly as dinner isn't on plan!  Using up the turkey ragu on a pizza tonight but think there's probably enough for another one so if so will freeze it for next week.  Will boil some new pots later and then we can have those fried up alongside the pizza.  So only on plan meal today was my breakfast - cheese omelette - HEA & Protein!  DH had a 2 fried egg sandwich but I didn't fancy that.

Right must get on and haven't even washed up yet and I hate having it sitting around.  Just have to go and get DH's plate and mug before I can do that though.  Good job the lake is only about 50 yards away!

Once again welcome back maman.  The thread has been very quiet without you!
  • morning all 👋🏻
Been really unwell in the tummy department 🚽 but trying to get to see a doctor is a nightmare. Already had test which were negative for anything sinister. Tried to get a face to face with Dr but she’s on holiday (typical) had email convo with another Dr who explained all the tests in detail which was good, she is concerned about my symptoms and recommends my Dr to refer me to hospital. Have to wait until Tuesday for her return then her update so no idea how long before I get anywhere.

WI today with loss of 3.4lb ( mostly down 🚽 🤪) looks good but the ill feeling is awful. Being at work when it strikes is no fun either 🥺. Big ball of emotion today 😢

Hope everyone else is feeling better than me 🥰
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks for all the good wishes. 😊

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough tie. But well done on the loss. 👏👏👏 I do hope your GP can help on Tuesday.

We've just got back from a Heritage event. I was very good and made some muffins to take with me so could stay on plan. 😇
    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- egg muffins (P, S)
D- sweet and sour chicken (P, S), chips and brown rice (F)
    Syns - sauce 2?, weekend wine 🍷😁

Sorry to hear you've been so unwell TIE.  Really hope your GP refers you to hospital to find out what is wrong.  Well done on the loss however!

Found a great charity book shop in town today - all books were FREE so picked up a WW cookery book and there are some nice recipes in it.  The one DH has picked out I've worked out the syns at 3.5 per portion plus part 2nd HEA which isn't too bad - it's a Salmon puff which is basically a smoked salmon and asparagus in white sauce in the middle of a choux pastry ring.  Obviously won't be able to try it until we go home at the end of the month but it is a definite one to try.  Will post a picture when I make it if I can work out how to do it, LOL!

There are a few others as well which we'll probably try but I'll let you know what they are when we actually have them!

Don't think I could cope with WW they actually tell you how much meat, potatoes & veg you can have!!!  Glad I'm doing SW!

Just about to have a look at the dessert pages now - these are the ones that DH really misses but to be honest I'm not that bothered about puds although I like one occasionally.

We ate out at lunchtime and I was reasonably good with my choices.  Started with fishcake with a sweet chilli sauce and salad garnish followed by lamb shank, new boiled potatoes (no butter), cabbage, carrots & peas.  I didn't even have much of the gravy as I lifted the meat out of the dish onto my plate and left the skin, bone & gravy in the dish!  It was all very nice and definitely didn't need a dessert as really full.
