Losing in Lockdown - Slimming World Support Thread

Beanie I only need to loose 10lb now to get to target town. My weight may well creep back up in the short term as ive not lost it naturally. I have succumbed to a couple of hero chocolates but well within my syns. I’d lost 13lb when I weighed myself - probably more at 1 stage as I’d been eating a few days when I got on the scales.
My consultant has put things on hold for me.....again. She is really good. I just hope they’ll have room for me when I’m ready to go back.

Thinking of silver linings milann, you should be able to maintain the weight you lost accidentally and then some if you stick to plan.
I suppose it depends on the group but things seem to have settled round here. There isn't the usual surge of new members for September maybe as nobody seems to think they'll be going to any events at Christmas. I texted my consultant to check for a place before my first visit but she said when I decide to go next (within 8 weeks as a target member), I can just turn up. Biggest problem seems to be with venues. Our (church) Hall is OK but others are not.

Maman, we have a temp venue but i won't be going ! It's on an industrial estate at rush hr! I would be sitting on the dual for up to an hr, no way am i doing that!!

That's crazy bubbs . I suppose she's chosen the timing for those who go straight from work. I don't know about your usual venue but I think some have a problem with cleaning between hirers. My dancing class is cancelled because it's in a school and I think they don't want to have to clean up before the children come in the morning. It's a bit of a joke because we usually have to sweep up the peas off the floor before we dance so we leave it cleaner than when we start. 🤣

That particular industrial estate is bad at any time, rush hr they are queuing terrible, same in the mornings! She has got there as can get no where else, we are on the high list here for outbreaks, our usual venue is a social hall thing

Yes, I know it's high in your area bubbs. I'm going to a funeral next week for an elderly uncle (96) in Kettering and the rate is 4 times higher than here. ☹️

My consultant has said the same to me maman.  She's keeping a space for me because I go regularly.  Anyone who doesn't go regularly has to text her to make sure there's a space.  There's still a limit in place with a max of 30 people although with the way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if we go back into lockdown throughout the country.  Figures seem to be rising in lots of places.
