Glad to hear that your sister is at least going to get some tests done.  There's obviously something not right!  It's definitely not normal to drink bottles of gaviscon!

DH decided on stuffed peppers tonight so that's what we're having.  Should be ready in about 10 minutes (hopefully)!  It's really difficult with timings in the motorhome, there's a lot more guesswork involved!  So it will be keema curry & rice tomorrow night.

The turkey ragu has made masses.  It's supposed to serve 6 but I think it's more likely to be 8 if not 10 portions - I thought my pan was going to overflow there was so much.  Will see how much I use tomorrow for the curry and then decide how many portions are left and will freeze them (will need to take something out of the freezer to fit the bags in though!).  It's quite tricky with only having an icebox across the top of the fridge when you've used to a fridge/freezer and a chest freezer but I'll sort something!

It was really tasty bubbs.  It's a recipe from this month's Tesco magazine for batch cooking.  I'll certainly be making it again when we get home.  Not sure I'll do it again in the motorhome as it means we need to eat it at least 3 nights running, even if it is used in different ways!  It would also adapt well to chicken or beef mince and uses stuff that I usually have in anyway (apart from courgettes which I only tend to buy when I specifically want them - except when I was growing them of course!)

The garlic bread always looks good.  Really must try making them.  Is it the Promis rolls?

    Evening,
Felt decidedly cooler this evening when I came out of work just after 6.  It is easier to sleep
    when it’s cooler though.

Today I was so busy I hardly had a moment to stop to eat!  it ended up a bit muddled but ok.

    B - banana before I nipped out to L!dl
had planned on porridge when I got
back, but son #4 called for a lift, so I didn’t get home until after midday.  So had wm toast HEB 5 mins before I left for work with spread  (2.5)
L - ff Greek yog (0.5) and was meant to have mixed salad with cheese from
hex2 But only got time for yogurt at work.
D - LO lasagne (4) with my salad from lunch &
    salad cream (2)

OH has had to stay late at work so it’s just me
and the cat for company tonight.

Ruby I think sometimes you need to get a hankering out of your system. Hope you feel better for some time off.

Bubbs I feel so sorry for your sister. Must be awful for her

Morning all.  It's a bit cooler today but still nice.  Been out on the scooter and done some shopping so should be OK for the next week.  I've done a loose menu plan but things always seem to change when we're away!

So today should be an on plan day as won't be going out again because DH is now fishing for a couple of hours or maybe more depending on whether he's catching or not, LOL!

B - egg, fried up LO potatoes (should have had beans as well but we'd run out!) - P; F
L - HM hummus, cucumber sticks, pepper sticks, Ryvita - HEB; S; 2
D - keema curry, rice, mini naan bread (curry is the turkey ragu with added spices) - P; S; F; 6

    HEA - milk
    HEB - Ryvita
    Syns - hummus 2; naan 6; rum 5

Hope everyone has a good day - at least it's the last day before the weekend for those of you still working!

  • Morning (just!)

Bit windy here today, but trying to make the most of it and get washing done before the weekend.  OH has a bonus day off today as he worked an extra 6.5hrs yesterday dealing with a contractor, so that's thrown me completely off my usual routine.

I've got some chicken thighs in the oven now for my lunches, so will have that at work with some salad.

Today's plan is looking like this:
    B - banana
pre-work B/snack - porridge HEB with apple slices, made with water & milk from HEA1, sugar 1
L - salad, cucumber, tomates, carrot, sweetcorn, chicken thigh, dressing (2)
D - sweet & sour chicken with noodles (4 to account for sauce)

We are out again both days this weekend (will be happy to have some time at home soon if OH would just stop organising our day trips to fetch or deliver stuff).  I will take packed lunches with us as I don't want to be eating rubbish and having it scuppering my week on plan.  Putting in more effort to plan makes me feel less likely to self-sabotage, and then I can use my syns for treats I actually do want to have.

Have a good weekend everyone - not sure when I am going to be about to post, but may try if I'm not on driving duties.
