    Afternoon all
She rang me about 10 to fetch her, they suspect she is allergic to shells 🤔apparently shells are in loads of things , even medicine! Which would be right with mussels and almonds (where she had reaction before), they gave her 8 steriods.

She said her ear still hurt this morning but went to work, i will ring her later.

She has to make an appointment with the doctors to have allergy tests and sort out her heartburn, she is having it all the time now , she narrowed it down to firstly instant coffee, then vinegar, then tomatoes, then bread she said i won't be bale to eat anything soon as that was simple meat and veg last night and she said she was doubled over with the pain, they did two ECG's one at home, one at the hospital.

I am allergic to penicillin, just came on all of a sudden, thought i was going to die!!

    Ruby keep plodding

Glad your sister is home now bubbs.  Allergies can be really bad.  I'm only allergic is one antibiotic which is penicillin based but all others are OK which is really weird.

Today has been a 50/50 day!  Breakfast was good; lunch was partly good/partly not and dinner was good but pudding wasn't HM apple pie (lid only) with double cream.  Full up now so at least I shouldn't be eating anything else this evening!

On the move again tomorrow, travelling up to Lincolnshire for the weekend.  Not sure where after that without looking it up!

Yes weather has been really good.  Had a short shower Monday morning but that's been about it.  There's been a couple of grey days but has been really warm.  Sat out all afternoon in the sun and it was lovely.  Forecast for the next few days is looking good too.

    Evening,
*waves at Denise passing me by through Lincolnshire*

Ruby we can all get a bit like that.  I was for the most part of earlier this year, but once I got back into the swing of things, and got my head back round how I should plan I've been much better, and feeling more confident about sticking to plan too.

    Today's plan:
B - porridge HEB with water & milk from HEA1, sugar (1.5) & sliced apples
L - lettuce, cucumber, sweetcorn, carrot, 2 chopped chicken thighs, LF dressing (1);  sf jelly (0.5) with melon & cream (3)
D - HM lasagne: LF 5% minced beef, tomato puree, chopped toms, mushrooms, onions, garlic, I did use a jar sauce, which I think worked out at about 4 syns per portion as it had to go into 6 servings.  Cheese from HEA2.
Rest of HEA1 was milk in drinks

I'm nipping to Lidl tomorrow AM so may pick up something for tomorrow's dinner then.  I bought some turkey mince the other day thinking of making the fake spring rolls using cannelloni, has anyone else tried this?  I really like San Choy Bow from the chinese which is pork mince in lettuce leaves, so may even have that instead with the turkey mince as a substitute, although not sure OH will like it.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

I wanted to get turkey mince the other day but Mr Ts had run out!  I'm assuming it's because a lot of people have seen the turkey ragu recipe in their magazine, which is what I wanted it for.  I ended up buying the equivalent weight in turkey burgers which I'll break up to make the ragu.  It makes six portions so will be getting 3 meals out of it for us - keema curry, stuffed peppers and pizza topping.

sary I assume that's the white lasagne sauce jar you used if it's that high in syns.  The Tesco one is the lowest syn at 16 syns for the jar so would actually be less than 3 syns per portion!  Most of the others are around the 26-30 syns a jar so would be anything from just over 4 to 5 syns a portion - no wonder us SWers don't use jars as a matter of course!

I'm going to make the turkey ragu today but haven't decided whether to have the stuffed peppers or the keema curry.  Will see what we fancy later.  Won't be as the pizza topping as that will be last and will probably be slightly smaller portions of mince!

It was definitely cooler last night as I didn't need to keep throwing the covers off! so slept much better.  Looking to be another nice day today although slightly cooler but I'm sure it'll still be warm.
  • Morning all.  Glad to hear your sister is ok bubbs and thanks for the support, you to sary.  I just think I'm tired and need a break; still been working out in the mornings but I know I'm not putting my all into it.  Gave in to the wallowing last night and ordered a KFC from up the road.  Enjoyed every bite of it but feeling bloated and even more blah today.  Only today and tomorrow to get through and then a week off work.

B - FF greek yogurt, blueberries, banana
L - Lentil and carrot soup, pitta bread (HEB)
D - Haddock chowder (part HEA)
S - cheese (HEA), ham, gherkins

Hope you all have a good day.

    Evening all

Ruby, hopefully it is now out our system 😁
I am tired as well , think it's the dark mornings doing it, it's pitch black when we get up now :(

My sister had the call back from the doctors, she has to do some samples and has been referred for allergy testing but they said could be a while but they said that when she was at the hospital. If the samples don't show anything she has to have further investigations as we know it's not normal to drink bottles of gaviscon!!
Will put tea pic up in a bit
