How do you know the Jaffa cakes taste fine milann?🤣😉

It's so true that SW makes us eat healthily regardless of the weightloss klew. Like ruby says it becomes a default way of eating. I know when I'm away and eat in restaurants a lot I start to crave vegetables.

Shame about that half pound denise especially as you've been so careful with syns. 4.5 lbs is still a good margin to start a holiday. Whatever happens, you can enjoy yourself and sort it out when you get back.

That's good news about your Dorset cereals tete. I can see that loads of the flavours are still HEBs. I  just remembered catching sight of the  Dorset name on the excluded list which I can't find again!🤣 It's now 9 days since I emailed SW, and still no response.

As a target member, I only plan on weighing every 8 weeks  (to keep free access to the website) unless I slip out of range and then I go until I've sorted it.  I stay for Image Therapy occasionally but I also drop in for weigh and go at any group that suits as well. I'm lucky that where I live there are groups all over the place so it's easy to find a convenient one.  My plan is to go next Thursday and stay if I can be fitted in (understandably I think regular, staying members have priority) and hope I'm still in range or I think I may have slipped out because the one time I've weighed (In Boots last month ) since January I was right at the top and I've eaten out since then. Que sera. 😉

I've got mushrooms to use up so we're having mushroom stroganoff tonight. I could use Primula and make it free but I think I've got  Aldi cream cheese to use up so I should count the syns. It doesn't help that it's 2 sys for 25g but the recipe is in tablespoons!

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
L- LO chicken casserole (P,F,S) with beetroot (S)
D- Mushroom stroganoff (S) with brown rice and SW chips (F)
    Syns- cream cheese?

Actually, as I don't think there's any chicken left in the casserole I'll be having an accidental Green day! Don't think I have any plans for HEXs though.

If it helps maman a Tbs is 15g so a Tbs plus a Dsp would be 25g - as long as you've got measuring spoons!

Don't think I added syns for olives with lunch so that's another 1.5 for 8 so still within syns for the day.

When I have an accidental Green day I sometimes have some Ryvita with cheese in the evening if I'm a bit peckish to use them.  Sometimes only have 2 so it counts as Speed!

Wow Milann, you did well to keep that many treats in the house and forget all about them! I noticed the supermarkets have started with their huge piles of chocolate tins already, I have to avert my eyes when I walk in the door.

One disadvantage of online membership over group is that once you reach target, you have to keep paying for access to the website, whereas group (and website access by extension) becomes free as long as you stay in target range. I believe online members can 'transfer' to group membership but I might just try to go it alone once I'm at that stage, as others have said above it becomes a lifestyle and you know what to do. It's all a long way off at the moment anyway so a bit of a moot point!

I've been in the garden and had a tentative dig at my potatoes - lifted 29 perfect little spuds all from one sprouty supermarket Maris Piper! I'm chuffed to bits and will definitely do them again next year, I basically just planted them and left them to it.

    Meal plan for today:
    B - Porridge with sugar (1)
    S - Melon
    D - Tomato orzo
T - Pork chop, boiled potatoes, grilled mushrooms and cherry tomatoes
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Porridge
Syns - Sugar in porridge and coffee (5), hot choc (2) = 7

I've also been out for a four mile run and my flaming watch died at 3.7 miles so I have no proof

Think it's probably a northern thing having Dinner and Tea.  In the south it's Lunch and Dinner.

If you go out for an evening meal do you still say you're going out to Tea in the same way we'd say we're going out to Dinner?

Absolutely a Northern thing.....my poor gks get very confused - they have a southern dad and I’m northern mum and live down south.....never quite sure when they’re going to eat 😂😂😂😂
we say ‘going out for a meal’ 😂😂 whatever time of day it is 😂😂😂😂
exception is ‘Christmas Dinner‘ which is 3ish 😂😂😂 - this is my son in laws proof that he is right 😂😂😂😂 I beg to differ 😂😂

Definitely breakfast, lunch and dinner here. I'm 'down South' too. To throw another spanner in the works, it's becoming increasingly common to call the evening meal Supper (my DH does) to differentiate from dinner which is more formal with several courses. 😊

I didn't have Aldi cheese after all so will be using Primula, making my dinner syn free. 😁

I'd noticed that a lot of people are calling the evening meal Supper now but to me supper is an extra meal so 4 meals in a day - B; L; D; S!  If I have something like Ryvita and cheese later in the evening, say 9pm then that would be Supper, certainly not what I was eating at 6pm!

I would have used the Primula too - no point in wasting syns maman.
