Morning all, I slept til 9.15 this morning - the sound of torrential rain on my window was so relaxing I couldn't wake up! Luckily work isn't very busy this week so no one noticed my absence. If it keeps up like this I'll be joining you on the sofa all weekend Ruby!

Well done on your loss GTQ!

    Today:
B - Melon and passion fruit
D - Mushroom and cheese omelette, beans
T - Sea bass, potatoes, broccoli
    HEA - Milk, cheese
    HEB - ? Almonds?
    Syns - Sugar (4), hot choc (2) = 6

My homegrown potatoes were very tasty last night, and I had homegrown tomatoes on my plate as well - I felt very accomplished!

    Morning all
Yipeeee the torrential rain has stopped and the sun is out.
I have been a good girl and had a cooked brunch today after yesterday! My god i was so hungry last night!

Denise, i thought it was Sary that had the upset tummy, not Mrs R?
    Well done GTQ, great loss

I am in the middle of sorting out but thought i'd just come and say hello 😂
Yes you're right bubbs; sorry sary and Mrs R for getting it wrong!

Glad I don't like Jaffa cakes - 2.5 syns each; I actually thought they might be higher than that as the Lotus biscuits are really small in comparison and plain and they are 2 syns each.

Just eaten our prawn cocktail but instead of using tomato sauce in the fromage frais I used chillichup (a chilli ketchup) plus a bit of Worcester sauce and it was really nice.  The chillichup is a bit like a sweet chilli sauce but not as sweet with just a hint of chilli.  Worked out at the same syns as tomato ketchup so still just 0.5 syns.  It's the first time I've made a Marie Rose sauce using fromage frais and it was quite nice and also keeps it low syn, not quite as creamy as using mayo but to the save the syns it's worth it - I'd rather have a rum for 2.5 syns that a couple of Tbs of light mayo, LOL!

Got most of washing dry but did need to put a few bits in the tumble dryer to finish up but it's all now folded and put away.  Will need to do another load tomorrow and then I'll change the bed on Sunday.  Hopefully that will be the lot before we go away on Tuesday.

Didn't use the cheese sauce mix in the end so saved 4 syns there!  Made a sauce using my 2nd HEA; made by mixing a tube of Primula Light (150g) into 4 Tbs of fat free fromage frais and microwaved for 1 minute.  This made enough cheese sauce for both of us @ 1 HEA per portion.  I thought it was quite cheesy but DH said he would have liked some more cheese on his.  I said next time he can grate some cheese onto it while it's on his plate!

Got given some windfall apples by my sister on Wednesday so made an apple pie for DH but decided I'd have a small piece with some half fat creme fraische so have ended today on 12 syns.
