Thanks  for the syn info - I’m 61/2 so far today then.
I had my ryvita for dinner with cheese and salad but I’m doing a very boring job - emptying my cupboards of items I don’t use often and putting them upstairs. The plan is to do some each day in readiness for the builder in a couple of weeks time. I was tempted to pick and kept opening the fridge and cupboards mooching for something to eat out of boredom really and just cos I was in the kitchen......so I ate my tea at 3 pm. Spag Bol from a home made ready meal. I’ll have some free food after my swimming session later. I feel quite satisfied now and am just having a cuppa before continuing- think of the body magic going up and down stairs 😂😂😂

That's fine milann. You can eat when you like but you stuck to eating the right thing! 👍
Meal plan is a bit fanciful for what I do denise. Mine is the size of a large postage stamp (cut from the corner of my shopping list every week ) and it's on the side of the microwave but I don't think DH notices it. It'sjust a llist of 7 or fewer dinners. I just buy ingredients for breakfast and lunch and choose on the day unless I have leftovers. DH has a sandwich and biscuits! 🤔🤣

DH usually has what I have for all 3 meals but also picks between meals, I think from boredom more than anything!  It'll be a couple of biscuits here, a pack of crisps there and crackers and cheese with tomatoes as well.  He'll also eat chocolate from the fridge if I've already opened it but not if it's a new bar.  I actually plan all 3 meals every day for the month which is why it takes me some time to do it.  Breakfasts and lunches tend to be the same things just repeated in a different order each week, LOL!  I try to get a bit more variety into the evening meals.

The mushroom stroganoff was lovely tonight.  I used the last of the primula plus some quark in the sauce - there was only 2 Tbs left so 4 syns split between us so I'm still well within syns for the week surprisingly.  I've still got about 12 syns left if I fancy something later other than the cheese and Ryvita which I can have anyway as it's a Green day!

Need to make some overnight oats later to take with me to WI tomorrow morning.  There's not much frozen fruit left so DH can have something else - probably corn flakes unless he wants to cook himself something when I go out, although he's planning on phoning the golf course to see if he can get a round in while I'm out.

That's a mammoth feat of meal planning denise. Well done. I suppose I spend about 10/15 minutes a week doing mine. I have my freezer inventory to hand, check the cupboards and fridge to make sure I use up what we have in first and then write my plan and shopping list to go with it. I've done this for years, long before SW. I find it saves time and money as then I can whizz around the supermarket buying just what I need. 😊

I have a look through the freezer, fridge and cupboards and base the main meals on what's in the freezer and fridge which need using up trying not to repeat meals too often over the month!  I also chuck in 3 or 4 veggie meals over the month using tinned beans, something like a mixed bean goulash or something like tonight's mushroom stroganoff as I buy mushrooms every week - just buy bigger box if I'm planning on this.

Probably takes me between an hour and hour and half to do the full month's menu, 3 meals a day.  I don't plan snacks or syns just sort those as and when but like you the weekend (and some week nights) involve alcohol, using rum as uses far less syns!

Been planning our tour of UK and booking sites today.  Have sorted out a plan and booked sites up to 25th September so still another few days to sort out but it's coming together nicely.  The furthest north we're going is to the Lake District where we'll be staying for 4 nights.  Most places we're only staying 3 nights.  We're going to book the final few days shortly before we come back and if we can't get booked in anywhere we'll just drive all the way home in one day - it'll be a long day but doable if necessary.  Definitely far more expensive camping in this country than France!
