Thanks for the advice about the crackers and HEBs - they were little garlic crackers which I think I remember as 1 1/2 syns each. I didn’t have any Ryvita in but will get some as I’d forgotten you can have them as a HEB - i tend to think wholemeal bread or porridge. Is it 4 of the rye ones for HEB - I’ll check the link that’s been put on here. Thanks again I’ve googled various items and quite often found the syns on Pinterest.
Hope your tooth is feeling better.....what a mess we’re in by not being able to access a dentist

I don't seem to be able to download any starter pack on the website. The Food Essentials is just a bit of waffle with nothing to click on but videos. Is that because you are an online member tete

I must admit I cheated and counted Aldi's soft cheese as a HEA denise. I should buy some Primula. Where did you find yours?

You could try roasting the cauliflower gtq. I do cauliflower steaks as a  side dish but it would work just as well with florets and you could add onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, courgettes or whatever you've got like Mediterranean veg. I spray with Frylight and then sprinkle salt and pepper, garlic granules and paprika but you could do anything you fancy. Another thing I've been enjoying is courgettes cut in half lengthways, sprayed with Frylight and then a generous (HEA) amount of  grated Parmesan. That would work for cauliflower too I'd imagine.

I may have to change tonight's dinner as I forgot to take the chops out of the freezer until this morning. If they don't defrost in time we'll have a freezer meal (probably chilli) and have chops tomorrow.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), mushrooms (S) HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- cold meat (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- lamb chops (P), new potatoes (F), carrots, cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
    Syns- HM gravy 4?

maman I got the Primula in Mr Ts, couldn't find the Light one so used the Original which was fine as you can still have 60g as HEA!  The tube is 150g so it's almost a full tube between the 2 of us; was much creamier than using the soft cheese that I usually use.  If you can get the Light one you get 75g so the whole tube between 2 people!  We both really enjoyed the sauce more than usual.  Will definitely be using Primula more often!

DH and I are going to sit down later to try and work out a tour around the UK for our month's holiday next month.  We'll use a mix of Club sites, small 5 van sites, rallies and commercial sites.  Will cost far more than it would touring France but seeing as FCO have said essential travel we're not going as travel insurance will be invalid.  We could go to Germany because that's not on the "naughty" list but suspect it might be added soon as cases of CV are definitely on the rise, particularly in the north which is where we'd have to go first in order to drive straight through France without stopping.

Think it will be far easier to stick to plan in the UK as a lot of things aren't available in France including skimmed milk!  The best we seem to be able to get is half fat milk which is creamier than semi skimmed, although having said that we usually take most of our milk with us as we use UHT skimmed milk when we're away as it's easier.

Off to update my online planner with the extra HEA!

Joedenise your tour sounds amazing. We had a tourer which we ended up keeping in Cornwall as we just towed it back and forth to the same central place each year. We let it go 3 years ago and I’ve missed it. I’d happily tour around England - fingers crossed from decent weather for you.
I discovered courgette with Parmesan recently and I’m addicted. Cauli is nice with your choice of Indian spices a bit of water and tomato purée mixed as a loose paste then tossed in a mixing bowl together squirted with frilight and roasted.

GTQ, how did you do the mug cake please
40g of porridge, whizzed up so that it is fine
    1 egg
    2 tbs of Greek yoghurt
    3/4 tsp baking powder
    1 1/2 tbs of sweetener
    1/2 tsp vanilla essence.

Mix it all up in a very large mug (next time I try I may use the microwave soup mug, although not sure how the plastic will effect the taste)

Bung in microwave for 1 minute 40 sec, it may appear undercooked, but the heat will keep cooking it.

Allow to cool, then remove, split and fill with your filling of choice, I used a sraping of jam, cream & fresh strawberries, a nice coffee & enjoy!

Might double the recipe and cook it in a small pyrex basin and then split with DH!  Sounds like it would make a nice dessert.  Found a tub of melon tubs in the freezer this morning so have those defrosting in the freezer for dessert tonight.  Will have mine with some quark; DH will probably have his with yoghurt.
