What a horrible day today!  It's not raining but it's very grey so wouldn't be surprised if it rains shortly.  It's forecast to be very windy as well but not bad at the moment.  Certainly won't be doing any washing today - that can wait until tomorrow!

Today's plan is a Green day:

    B - eggs on toast - HEB; P
    L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - P; S; F
    D - mushroom stroganoff, rice - S; P; F
S - (if needed this evening!) Ryvita; cheese - HEB2/HEA2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

Morning all.  It's chucking it down here this morning - hoping it eases off later when I want to go for a walk.

B - Porridge (HEB & 1/2 HEA unsweetened almond milk), banana, blueberries, peanut butter (3 syns)
    L - Lentil soup
D - Lasagne (0.5 syn), broccoli and cauliflower

    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000

    Morning all,
grey but so far dry morning her today, but I think it’s forecast to be wet and windy later. How terribly typical of our midsummer weather!

Had a poorly day yesterday, although I worked. I tried to be busy in the morning and get some fresh air, thinking that would help, but it actually made me feel worse.  Ate only what I could stomach, although not much it was over suns and low on speed because it was mainly plain toast. Anyway, hoping today is better.
In good news I can report a -0.5lb Loss this week.

    Today’s plan:
    b - wm bagel HEB (5) & spread (2)
l - mixed salad, rice and chicken
D - hm lasagne with LG minced beef & quorn mince (family have never sussed this over the years, and it keeps healthy). Will allow (2) syns per portion for sauce/thickening To be on the safe side.
    HEA1 milk in tea/coffee
    HEA2 cheese on lasagne

MrT order due this AM with lots of fresh fruit & veg.  Making a more considered effort to plan so as not to fail

One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

sary Sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday, hopefully today will be better.  Well done on the loss, a loss is a loss now matter how much!

What is LG minced beef?  Racking my brain but still no idea!

Good luck with the planning.  Mine's been a bit rubbish so far this month because DH keeps wanting something different to that planned and then complaining he can't work out what we're having when he looks at the plan!  There are so many arrows over it so it's much more difficult to work it out but I'm not going to be buying stuff I don't need when there is stuff in the freezer to use up!

Well done on your loss Sary, hope you feel better today!

You may have a point Maman, I wonder if I can only download PDFs of the starter packs because I'm an online member?

My tooth is feeling better but still not right. I have another four days of antibiotics to go though so fingers crossed. They seem to be knocking me for six, I don't know if that's a thing. I was in bed by 8.30 last night.

    Today's plan:
    B-  2x Weetabix (1 for sugar)
S - Cantaloupe, banana, passion fruit
D - Salad: Fish sticks, grated carrot, cucumber, tomatoes, pickles, cottage cheese
T - Leek and asparagus orzotto from freezer
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Weetabix
Syns - Sugar (5), might try to keep it at that!

    Have a good day all!

Sary hope you’re feeling better and that your tooth settles Tete.
I bought dark rye ryvita yesterday as I wanted something with crunch - it hit the spot 👍 Thanks for the idea. I’d already had my HEB so I guesstimated 1 syn.....anyone know if this is anywhere near - thanks.
I’d planned treats from my treat box but had fruit instead.....not sure what’s happened to me but long may it last 😂😂 I think it’s because I knew I could have them and wasn’t bothered.....annnnndddd......I want to get in a dress at the end of September - think I might put the dress on view in my bedroom 😀
    The Plan for Today
breakfast - ff yoghurt, raspberries, strawberries, banana, satsuma and cherries. A tablespoon of no added sugar granola 2 syns?
Dinner - HEA cheese, 2 ryvita  2 syns or part of a HEB depending on how the day pans out
    Tea - spag Bol
Snacks - fruit and 5 syns from box of treats
Body magic - 45 minute swimming
    January spends - £587.58

milann the dark rye Ryvita are 1.5 syns each or you can have 4 for HEB.  A Tbs of the no added sugar would be about 3 or 3.5 syns (it's 7.5 syns for 35g or HEB).  If you only have the 2 Ryvita and no other HEB that also counts as Speed!  Don't ask me why but that's what it says on the website!  Doesn't make sense to me but ...!

I very rarely eat crisps or chocolate so most of my syns go on things like cornflour to thicken sauces, or in the main wine and/or rum/gin!  The syns are there to be used so I use them to the max and have been at target since 2012 so it obviously works.

Stick to plan and you'll get into that dress by the end of September.

Well done on your loss sary. I think you're coping very well particularly as you're still suffering. 😊

I think feeling wiped out can be a symptom of  the medication tete. I'm sure extra sleep is good for you anyway. I think it's something to do with the body fighting infection. I've emailed SW to ask about lists of HEXs. I'm not expecting much other than waffle and platitudes back  but I wanted to make the point that they were available on the old site.

Those Ryvitas are 1.5 syns each as I know they're 4 for a HEB milann. I like piling them up with tomatoes and cornichons and ham (however much I can balance on them😉). I much prefer a savoury snack if I'm having one. 😋  Good luck with getting into the dress, great incentive. Maybe you should hang it outside the wardrobe and put the treat box inside! 🤣

It's absolutely tipping it down here. I don't intend to venture outside the door. I don't share my meal plan with DH denise so he has a pleasant surprise every evening! 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- ham (P), 1 potato (F) fried veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (F,S,P), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- 0😇

I print my month's plan and hang it on the fridge with a magnet maman.  I'd probably forget what we're supposed to be having if I didn't and definitely can't be bothered looking on the laptop every day!!!

Had a little bit of rain but very light, more in the air than actual rain but at least the garden will get a bit of water!  Have picked another box of tomatoes and loads more to pick tomorrow.  Also have loads of green tomatoes as well including the 2 plants that are in the ground which haven't had any ripe ones yet, suspect it's because they don't get as much sun as the pots.
