How much do you think you've put on then bubbs?  With the meals that you post it seems difficult to imagine that you've put much on if any!  Is it because of your "picky" teas?  They're the only meals you don't post pictures of!

I'm sure you could soon lose enough to get back to target if you set your mind to it.  When is your group reopening?

Still got plenty of time to shift it then!  Why mid October, is that because of the venue?  My group opened last week but I didn't go until this week.  Going again next week then I won't be going again until at least mid October.  Hoping that will give me time to make sure I'm back in target after my holiday!

    Hiya everyone
Apologies for being AWOL again. I’ve had a couple of mildly naughty days. I went to London with my brother on Tuesday and had a lovely time. I thought I might end up being really naughty but I was as good as I could be. I took my usual breakfast with me (2 HiFis and fruit) and I bought some Fridge Raiders and water. I had them all on the train.

We stopped for a drink before we went into Madame Tussaud’s and I had a Kopparberg alcohol free (which I know is naughty!) Lunch was absolutely amazing- we ate in Selfridges! I was in there buying my nephew a 21st birthday present and as I spent a small fortune on him my brother was amenable to what I wanted.

So we went to the Brasserie of Light- it was unreal. After not being able to finish my meal on Saturday evening as I went for something far too rich I decided to go for something I was more used to. I had a smoked salmon and rye bread starter, then Eggs Benedict made with ham (so far the ham, poached eggs and salmon were free) The Eggs Benedict came with chips which my brother and I shared. Of course I had dessert which was also amazing.

When I got home later I had chicken with a spoon of Nando’s sauce, couscous and salad- I avoided anything naughty for the train but thankfully was still full from lunch. I went slightly over syns yesterday- by 2- but I’ve been really good today and I also did 13000 steps on Tuesday so I’m hoping that’s helped too. I weighed before I went Tuesday and I lost 5lbs. Got SOTW and my 1/2 stone.
    Today’s food:
B: HiFi x 2 (HEXB) apple, pear, decaf coffee with HEXA
L: SW Chinese Banquet ready meal, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. Water
T: 2 x jacket potatoes (2) with beans, salad, smoked salmon and 25g vegan cheese (3.5)
Snack: Fibre One Popcorn bar (3.5) flat peach, pear
S: 4 x Ryvita (6) with HEXA Laughing Cow Light, ham and smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes, and Hula Hoops Pufts (3.5) water
    Syns: 18.5
    Night all xx

Morning all.  It's extremely windy this morning so have got a machine load of washing out - should be dry in an hour or so I would think!  My hairdresser is coming to cut my hair this morning - she said about 10ish but I suspect she'll be here nearer 9.30 as she's nearly always half hour earlier than she estimates!

    Today's plan:

    B - creamy, garlic mushrooms on toast - HEB/HEA2, S
    L - chicken and seafood paella (from freezer) - P; S; F
D - Fakeaway KFC, SW chips, beans, corn on the cob - P; F; 2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - 75g Light Primula
    Syns - 5g butter 2

Will be sticking to rum this week as far as possible as it's lower syn than wine and I'm meeting my sister for lunch next Wednesday, the day before WI so planning on being a bit lower syn this week so I don't have to worry when we go out for the meal!

  • Back to group last night, maintain, so overall gain of 2lb in lockdown, in the grand scheme of things, not too bad, especially against the 5st! Group was a bit chaotic, mainly because we are trying to get used to the new way things are done, we are in a different group as our consultant had been asked to take it over, but it was good to see familiar faces. It is in a sports club and boy were the idiot drivers out yesterday! I got there and there was no parking so was having to reverse out, suddenly had to stop as someone decided to drive in, hello, my reverse lights are on and I am moving, what did they think I was doing? Got out onto the road and went to park, needed to reverse to get into a sensible position and an idiot on a motorised scooter (they should not be allowed to be on the road) decided to stop behind me and take in the views of the traffic, again, what were my reverse lights saying? Rant over!

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all, weigh in tomorrow. The McDonalds experience hasn’t affected my mind but I think it would have more if I had not allowed myself the treat – if that makes sense. Anyway, have been really good since then. I’m finding that I must have had a bit of chocolate addiction as I do get a craving, but a small freddo every now and then helps me to battle on lol. Todays menu

B: Fruit and Fibre skimmed milk, raspberries

L: small baked potato, baked beans, cheese

D: SW recipe Beef ragu, pasta (its packed with speed)

    S: apples

    Loads of water
