Morning all. Mrs R your day in London sounds lovely and I'd love to be having some eggs benedict right about now! Can't believe the 5 stone gain bubbs, did that person not think that they'd be caught out when they went back to group? GTQ a 2lb gain sounds perfectly reasonable to me (says the person who's yo-yoed the same 5 lbs in lockdown!)
Extremely windy and grey here today and really need to do some washing but don't want to chance it on the line and don't fancy putting the heated airer up just yet.
B - Peanut butter on toast (HEB & 3.5 syns), blueberries
L - Lentil and bacon soup, cherry tomatoes
D - Ham, egg and chips
Last day of the working week and I'm glad - no real plans for the weekend but I'm sure DH will come up with some DIY job that he want's help withEmergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20172 -
I think 2 lbs over many months is brilliant gtq. I've been happy to maintain through lockdown but I'll have to pull my finger out before I book to go back to class. We'e out for lunch too on Wednesday denise. I'd have preferred a weekend but my friend booked it. At the moment I'm thinking I'll book WI for the week after. I'll check with my consultant first but I think she said some date in September was the cut off when I had to go to keep my membership. Does anyone know if you can book more than a week in advance? And does anyone know how much flip flops weigh?🤣 It's not something I wear, I don't like toe posts but I'd buy a cheap pair of flip flops if needs must.
Not sure about today. I'm going out in a moment and I'm not hungry enough to have an early lunch. I might buy somthing when I'm out or just see how I go and eat later. Will post menu when I get back.😊1 -
I've just checked the chicken and seafood paella which I got out of the freezer and hadn't realised it wasn't one of my HM ones it was a canned one, eek! 10 syns per portion but there is less than half the can so I'll count it as 8. Good job I'd only planned on 2 syns for today - that'll now be 10 but still within syns (28 over 2 days and won't be drinking tonight).
Well done on just 2lb gain GTQ over the lockdown months. That's not bad at all.
I managed to get a machine load of washing dried before we got any real rain - there was a bit in the air but it was so windy it didn't hang around and make the washing wet! Just a couple of bits a bit damp round the waistband but dried out quickly hung on the back of a couple of chairs for an hour.
My flip flops (not toe post ones as I can't wear them!) weighed 130g so not too bad but I didn't where them as I can't stand wearing plastic even for a few minutes so I wore a pair of lightweight cork soled sandals which weighed a few grams more @ 145g, not enough difference to worry about. I certainly wouldn't go out and buy something maman unless you really haven't already got something which are light enough not to worry.

Hi everyone,
Had my biryani for dinner but did skip breakfast. Other than that just a cup of tea and a peppermint tea so far today I've got no idea what I'm having for tea but heading to the supermarket after work so will be sensible for the weekend hopefully.Pennies starts again...........2022 - £13,579.221 -
Thank you about my gain, it proves that when I eventually get to target, I will be able to stay around there which is the ultimate goal.
I bought my flip flops in Primark, 90p! But, they will serve dual purpose as I tend to use them as slippers when I go away, at that price, I leave them behind! Didn't even consider the weight of them they are so light.
Was thinking about the 5st gain, how on earth could the member have been misreading to badly, I know we all go into denial, but that much?A smile costs little but creates much1 -
joedenise said:bubbs said:joedenise said:How much do you think you've put on then bubbs? With the meals that you post it seems difficult to imagine that you've put much on if any! Is it because of your "picky" teas? They're the only meals you don't post pictures of!
I'm sure you could soon lose enough to get back to target if you set your mind to it. When is your group reopening?
Group won't be opening till mid october i don't thinkmore and more cases everyday, so they are keeping places like these closed. Local factory shut today dh said , they had over 300 confirmed cases 😫
Afternoon all

I decided to invest in some special shoes for WI! 🤣 They had spa slippers in the £ shop and they weigh less than 3 ozs so I'm happy! I've put them in the cupboard with my book so I don't forget.
I treated myself to lunch in the city centre, first time in months. I had a tuna Nicoise salad in Pret with an Americano. I only added a drizzle of the dressing and there were a few bits of chopped olive in there too. Probably about 3 syns in total. I'm not fussed as I know I'll probably be going over syns this week because of lunch out (no idea of the menu). I'll get back on it 100% from next Thursday I hope. 😉
Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
L- tuna Nicoise salad (S, P)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F) asparagus, courgettes, tomato, mushrooms, carrot chips (S)
Syns - dressing, olives 3, weekend wine 😁🍷1 -

Same here bubbs I don't syn instant mash either. As far as I know the "recipe" hasn't changed so it's still Syn free as far as I'm concerned!
We had KFC as well and very nice it was too.
Soaking chickpeas at the moment ready to make curry tomorrow.
