Bubbs we got there at about 2:30pm. A lot of the meat shelves had been practically cleared! I said to OH we probably would be better to go earlier in the day, maybe even mid-week to get better stock levels.
Staff told my friend Weds, Thurs, Fri and Sat best days.
When i went Friday i got there just after 9 but the queue was out the door and round the car park 😂 but it moved quick, think it was because opening time and because you can't go in until the first square is empty, social distancing.
Yesterday was the first day we had just gone in.

    Morning all 😁

Nice morning but chillier, just had melon for breakfast, not sure yet what else we will be eating today. I might have lasagna , been thinking about it 😋
Glad you had a good time Tete but sorry you got caught in the rain :( we have not had any apart from a few spots

Definitely was, I don't feel guilty for enjoying it but did wish she'd listen and not just assume everyone wants to eat the same amounts as her and she makes you feel so guilty if you say no because it's like you've offended her :unamused:

It's very hard ruby to say no to people when they are providing food.  We still have to live!  SW has to work around our lives not the other way round!

Had a sneaky look at the scales this morning as over syns yesterday, although well within total for Thurs to Sunday, was very surprised as looks as though I've lost a full lb since then!  I'm going to weigh again Wednesday morning before we leave for holiday just to see where I am!

I know what you mean ruby, it's so difficult to refuse food at other people's homes without giving offence. It doesn't sound like your MIL was going for he healthy option. ☹ You've done the right thing to get  straight back on it today though. Draw that line! 😁
Fingers crossed that pound stays off denise. 😉

I've decided that the Neville's bread is very bland so don't think it'll be a regular choice. DH gave me one slice for breakfast this morning so I could have another later if I wanted to. Maybe you're right tete. It didn't taste of much so not bothered whether I have more or not.

My dance class is meeting up tomorrow (outdoors and socially distanced) . We'll do some adapted dances so as not to touch! We're all taking our own drinks and some food for the break. I'm thinking maybe some rice salad and then some fruit and yogurt. But I could have a Neville's sandwich! 🤣

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB (half) toast, HEA milk, fried egg (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- cold meat (P), fried potato (S), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), cauli, broccoli, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    Syns- none planned 🙂

I'd be happy if it stays off but a bit more off would be even better :)!

Enjoy your dance class tonight.  I'd not bother with the Neville's bread as a sandwich!  I can cope with it as toast with something on it like scrambled eggs or beans!

What gets me is the MIL used to follow SW but fell of plan in a major way and hasn't bothered with it since.  She almost jumped on me when I was just eating salad and said "how can you just eat that?" and I said because I actually enjoy it.  She pulled a face and then started telling us about her diabetes getting worse again and DH asked her if she was "following that diet that made you feel better and helped you lose weight" (e.g. SW) and she just ignored him.  His sister / her daughter is moving back in with her soon and is really into SW (she lost 12 stone on it 2 years ago) and said she's going to do most of the cooking as a thank you for her mum putting her up so maybe the next time I see her she won't have a go at me for eating salad

Dance class sounds fun, I'm off for a walk after work and then 30 minutes of an arm workout.  August is "We Active" month for a lot of healthcare workers and my colleagues are putting me to shame with their posts on Twitter about all the exercise they're doing so I better get off the sofa and get a bit more active.

    Evening all 😁

Well i didn't have Lasagna in the end i had ham, egg chips, spoonful of beans and a small side salad
Someone has put this on our fb page, made me 🤣🤣🤣
I understand the reason for wearing shoes on the scales, but as a target member and have really worked hard to keep in target. I will not be happy if by wearing shoes, it sends me over my target range so that I am expected to pay. 😡

flip flops or similar dont weigh anything on the scales. Unfortunately my hands are tied here as its for safety reasons , not to incur charges

That's ridiculous bubbs. She wouldn't have to pay for her shoes. As you know, I weighed my slippers and they were less than half a pound. If she can't lose that in her grace week then she doesn't know the plan very well. Perhaps she should ONLY wear her shoes for her WI! 🤣

Ham, egg and chips. Yum. 😋
