We go to Rye nearly every summer for a few days. In fact when we were away the other week we actually drove into Rye for a couple of hours of wandering. It was eerily quiet because hardly any shops were open. It was really difficult to socially distance as well as paths are very narrow, we seemed to spend half our time crossing back and forth over the road to avoid other people who seemed hellbent on walking directly at us!

Hi all,
It was boiling here yesterday too but then we had a big downpour around 8pm so I thought it would be cooler today but I was wrong! I went out for my run this morning though as I'd promised myself I would and I feel better for it (first one for three weeks - I've been so down in the dumps...)
STS for me this morning which is totally fair, I've been having too many HEBs and sampling too many HiFi bars this week, and definitely not enough speed. Feeling optimistic today though, I think it's the combination of weigh day and a new month.
Today:
B - 2 Weetabix, sugar (1)
D - Salad - tuna, boiled egg, grated carrot, leaves, tomatoes, pickles, balsamic vinegar, squirt of LTL mayo (2)
T - Tomato orzo bake
HEA - Milk
HEB - Weetabix
Snacks - Banana, melon, passionfruit
Syns - Sugar (4), mayo (2), maybe a tipple tonight...
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday! I was going to do housework but my aunty has invited me round for a cuppa in the garden this aft so I'm going to make the most of the nice weather. I've hardly seen anyone during lockdown and as someone who enjoys their own company and has social anxiety in spades, its quite hard coming out of it again, but I know it'll do me the world of good...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb2 -
Afternoon all 😁
It's much cooler here today and big black clouds threatening , but the farmers from over the back came and knocked and said they were going to combine, we might want to shut the windows!

Afternoon everyone
Thankfully it’s a bit cooler here today. Power went off another 4 times but thankfully came back on after a few minutes every time and it’s been fine since about 10pm last night. I read all of ‘Wild Women Do’ (Margaret Miles-Bramwell’s book) yesterday- really enjoyed it.Been to Morribobs today. I usually shop at Mr T’s but I think I’ll be switching to Morribobs now. I bought a lot of quite expensive stuff and it still came in cheaper than my shop at Mr T’s. I’ve filled my fridge full of fruit, salad, my favourite fish and lean meat. Got plenty to be going on with.Today’s food:
B: HEXB 2 x HiFi bars, 2 easy peelers, cup of decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Soy lemon and ginger salmon skewers (2) cherry tomatoes. Apple, flat peach, water
T: Spag bol (5% mince, passata, onions, peppers, mushrooms, garlic) Milkybar lolly (5)
S: 4 crackerbreads (4 syns) with HEXA Laughing Cow Light Blue Cheese, ham and tomatoes.Syns: Bottle of wine (9 syns- it’s alcohol free) Crackerbreads (4) Salmon skewers (2) Milkybar lolly (5) Total- 20 syns*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.202 -
Cooler here today too although no rain. 🙂
My plan is to carry on maintaining as I am denise until I've decided exactly when I'm going back to group. Then I'll cut down syns a bit to be certain I'm within the total. That'll probably mean a shorter weekend or gin!. 😉
We're having Aldi Lamb Rogan Josh tonight. I didn't realise they still did it until someone was having it on here earlier in the week. It'll make change from the Slimwell chicken one that we sometimes have on a Saturday. I's 6.5 syns shared and I'll add to the Speed with some mushrooms and peppers.
I explained to DH all about the Neville's bread yesterday but he obviously only listened to part of what I said. My plan was to have one slice with breakfast leaving another in case I wanted something on toast later. DH only listened as far as 'two slices' so I had two slices for my breakfast today which was far more than I needed . Fortunately didn't have plans for another slice later today. To be honest I found it a bit bland compared with Burgen or the Rankin Soda Bread (which is no longer an official HEB) but it's a fraction of the price so to be expected I suppose.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), bacon, fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), spring onion and beetroot (S), strawberries, raspberries (S) and FF yogurt (P?)
D- Aldi lamb Rogan Josh, SW chips, HM pilau (F), extra veg (S)
Syns- curry 4, weekend wine 😁1 -
I don't mind the Nevilles for toast but much prefer the Morries one for sandwiches! Didn't need to buy bread today which I was pleased about because Morries was absolutely packed today, more so than usual so we drove to Mr Ts for a change and it wasn't as busy as it has been when we've been there previously. No more shopping now hopefully until after our holiday but obviously if we need to we will!
