Change of plan for lunch!  I forgot I had cold rice in the fridge so we had tuna rice salad which was very nice.  I don't usually have LO rice so it made a nice change.  Don't think I've had a rice salad since I was working and I stopped working over 10 years ago!

So that was 1.5 syns for LTL mayo on the salad so 5.5 syns today so far but I do have a HEA left so if I'm peckish later I might syn a couple of Ryvitas to have with the cheese!

klew if you are going to join a group then you will need to contact the consultant of the group you want to join as you won't be able to just turn up, you'll be given a time to attend.  The groups are due to start w/c 10 August but as you've probably seen on here some groups are starting later because the venue isn't available then.

If you do want to use biscuits as syns there are a few low syn ones - rich tea are 1 syn each; Lotus biscuits are 2 syns each (these are the ones I keep in the cupboard in case I fancy a biscuit or 2).  You buy the Lotus biscuits in packs with packs of 2 biscuits in.  I usually get mine in £land!

bubbs the only one I can see online that make is the flame grilled chicken pieces which are Free.  Other makes of BBQ chicken pieces range from 0.5 - 1.5.

Tried to use the Syns Estimater but it doesn't show how much protein in it so guessed at 90g per 100g and it came out at 0.5 syns per 100g; obviously put chicken as Free food!

I bit the bullet today and decided to weigh myself.  After reading what you'd done bubbs, I went into Boots and used their scales. I didn't have shoes on but I was wearing my mask! I'm exactly at the top of target range. I'll take that as it means a gain of just a pound over more than 4 months! I'm good at this maintaining lark!

It's been baking hot here today but it's clouded over and cooled down a little now. I had a sleeveless dress on when I weighed so that was helpful. I was near Boots because  went to Tesco to get some Neville's bread. Like you, denise, I keep all bread in the freezer as we almost always have it as toast.

Hope your MIL feeds you something SW friendly ruby or if it's synful then it's something your really like.

More great bargains bubbs, shame Corby is so far away.

So if it's Friday it must be KFC day.
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- sardines (P) and beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, asparagus, courgettes, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    Syns- weekend wine   TGIF.

That's pretty good maman especially as you haven't been weighing for the 4 months.  Well done on still being in target range!  Are you going to try and lose a bit to get nearer target or even bottom end?

I would have liked to have been nearer bottom end before my holiday but 3.5lb to play with should be OK as we're only away for a week this time.  Will be having a socially distanced drink with some friends next week while we're away.  Will also see DD2 as she is going to the same campsite as us with her caravan so that will be nice as haven't seen her for quite a while.

With you there maman about being too far from Corby to visit!  Some great bargains.

Has everyone had an email from Slimming World about returning to groups?  I got mine this afternoon but I had actually already seen it on the SW blog earlier today.  It's also on the website front page about half way down the page.  I'm surprised it isn't the first thing on the page!

    Evening all
its been ridiculously hot here today- I’ve been in front of the fan all day. Then about 6.30 we had the most almighty thunderstorm! I honestly thought the roof had come in. It knocked the power off but thankfully ours came back on after a few minutes. Half the village still have no power though.
I enjoyed my class last night but my legs are seriously sore and protesting today :D
    Today’s food:
B: HEXB 2 x HiFi bars, apple, easy peeler, water
L: Smoked Salmon, baby new potatoes, salad.
T: Tuna pasta salad, 2 x flat peaches, banana. 3 bottles Heineken 0.0 (10.5 syns)
S: 4 x Ryvita cracked black pepper (6) HEXA Laughing Cow Light Blue Cheese, ham, packet of Hula Hoops Pufts (3.5)
    Syns: 20
Hope you’ve all managed to keep relatively cool xx

We're going to Canterbury for one night, 4 nights in Rye and then 2 nights near Battle.  Would have gone for longer but my medication will run out then and I'll need to pick them up from Dr's the day after we come back so will have to remember to order them while we're away!

That will give me about 3 weeks to lose anything I put on before we're off to France September, assuming of course than it doesn't go on the "essential travel only" list like Spain & Luxembourg!
