I think it's pretty stupid too - no way can I see that just having half HEB can be Speed but that's what it used to say on the old website - not sure whether it still does as haven't checked as I never just have 1 Hifi or 2 Ryvita for my HEB!
Beautiful day today so might spend a bit of time sitting in the garden later.
I decided to weigh this morning and send to consultant and it's +0.5lb since I last sent my weight 4 weeks ago so I'm pretty pleased with that and I'm still under target (just!).
Today's plan:
B - eggs on toast - P; HEB
L - veggie chilli, rice - P; S; F
D - lemon fish tagine, couscous - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned

Your brunch looks delicious bubbs . Anyone lurking should be totally convinced about SW when they see all the lovely food you post.
I was listening to a discussion on the radio yesterday about calories and the nutritionist was careful to point out that it's not healthy just to limit calories to lose weight , it's what foods you eat them in that matters. He was advocating a healthy, balanced diet. Surprise! Surprise!
I didn't snack last night. Pleased with that as I don't want it to become habit. DH was careful to measure porridge this morning (he's supposed to do it every time!). He said he wants to make sure my consultant is pleased with me when SW restarts. He obviously took the phone call to heart.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk
L- LO savoury rice (F,S), mange tout and beetroot (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S) with pasta (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- None planned2 -
Mrs R, our consultant suggested we buy 99p flip flops from Primark, they will be light and easy to change into.A smile costs little but creates much3

Just in from a frustrating trip into the office and town where I couldn't do everything I needed to on either front. Was starving and couldn't be bothered to start cooking when I came in so I quickly made three ryvitas with FF cottage cheese, grated carrot and cherry tomatoes for lunch, before remembering I've already had All Bran today, doh! So that's three more Syns to add.
I did however grate six big carrots into a bag to go in the freezer for some easy speed on the side or to add to sauces, so it's not all bad(since we've been talking about kitchen gadgets I'll add that I have an electric grater and it's my favourite thing - I'm always grating carrots and courgettes for bolognese etc. That and the actifry I would heartily recommend!)
Maman you just reminded me about a podcast I listened to yesterday about 'the obesity epidemic' and they were saying that when you start to lose weight, your body tries its hardest to get back up to the highest weight you were, and the more you lose the harder it is - to do with your body wanting to store up energy in case of famine. I don't know how true it is but it made me feel quite depressed about it all!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb2 -
Tete and Ruby i do chicken in my actifry, i have done just thighs/drumsticks with seasoning, kfc, scotch eggs, there is an actifty FB page, they do omelettes, pork loin , all sorts.
It was yummy maman, those cherry toms needed using to i chucked them in with the mushrooms , extra speed 😁
Denise that's good.
I told my sister she had given me a complex and i went and weighed, she said it was the top ! i said anyway 3lb out of target she said well good job i gave you a complex else it could have been 6lb out 🤣🤣🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1 -
Not sure which Ryvitas you had but I think the original are 1.5 each tete. 🤔
Yes, my consultant told me about flip flops. I don't have any. I was wondering about those paper slider things they give you for a pedicure or maybe slippers? 🤔
I don't have any gadgets at all except for a SC unless a microwave counts. 🤔🤣 In the past I have had a George Foreman type grill and an electric steamer but I didn't use them enough so got rid. I suppose I'm just used to working with what I've got. I don't find it a faff to make chips in the oven. Invariably I'm doing fish and mushrooms and tomatoes and often cauliflower steak at the same time so I just use my phone to remind me when to put things in. 🙂2 -

If I'm grating loads of stuff I can use my Kenwood as that has a grater attachment for the food processor part but I don't often bother I usually just use a box grater. My favourite gadget has got to be my Bamix + grinder attachment, so much easier than a pestle and mortar! Another one is the microplane for garlic, ginger & parmasan (it's great as long as you don't want to do a load - wouldn't fancy doing a full HEA's worth of parmasan on it!).
I did look at the Actifry but they have such a big footprint I couldn't justify the space for it. I'm quite happy doing chips in the oven too. I just turn the tray round, I don't bother turning the chips over! The best chips are when I microwave the potatoes and let them cool a bit before chipping them - they seem to get crisper that way than par boiling them.
