    Morning all!

Lovely to see you posting MrsR - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, what a rollercoaster of emotions right after your wedding too. Be gentle with yourself.

I didn't know Iceland were doing HiFi bars at the moment, I need to go into town today so I'll pop in. I've never had one before! Do they count as HEB?

Just been for my first run in over two weeks - just a mile around the block to ease me back in. Sitting having my melon now and contemplating my meal plan for the week.

    Today:
B - Porridge - half milk half water
S - Cantaloupe and passion fruit
D - Roast veg as per last night but with less feta as I'm having more milk today (aubergine, courgettes, peppers, tomatoes, feta, couscous)
T - Quorn chilli from freezer, with brown rice and green beans
HEA - Milk in coffee and porridge, 20g feta
    HEB - Oats
Syns - Sugar in coffee and porridge (4), hot chocolate (2)

My tomatoes are starting to ripen in the greenhouse now which is exciting - nothing tastier than a homegrown cherry tomato fresh from the vine :yum:

Hope everyone is well. It's lovely and sunny here after a miserable day yesterday, really perks up the spirits doesn't it?

Tete you can have 2 Hifi bars as HEB or they are 3 syns each.  I like the Fruit & Nut ones and the Rocky Road ones the best.  Not sure which ones Iceland are stocking but it's not the full range but I know they've got Fruit and Nut as I bought some a few weeks ago.

    Hi everyone,
Have been absent as went on a hike at the weekend. Carried full kit and camped along the way. First day did 12.5 miles, 10 miles second day (in rain of biblical proportions) and 8 miles on Sunday on South Downs way - high up and very windy! Second night we arrived at very basic campsite (literally a field with standpipe and portaloo) and kindly family were vacating their yurt a night early so offered it to us. If it wasn't for C-19 I would have snogged his face off!
I weighed before I went and had lost 1lb but ate what we could find en route (including fish n chips) so not holding out much hope for this week. I mainly snacked yesterday with cowboy stew for tea (Aldi skinny sausages yum). Better today though.
Thanks for heads up about HiFi bars at Iceland. I too enjoy the fruit and nut ones, so will pay a visit this week and hope to take some on holiday next week (we are off to Yorkshire).
Sorry to hear about the car Bubbs - it would have shaken me up too. Glad you're okay. The dogs are so cute!
Sorry to hear about your Dad Mrs R - what a blow after such a celebration. My condolences to you and yours.
    Have a good evening all,
    Coxy xx

    Evening all 😁
Welcome back Mrs R, so sorry on the loss of your'e dear Dad :( I know food can be my trigger and that would probably be me.

Thanks Coxy, £210 to repair 🙄 dh said i can pay for it too teach me a lesson 🤣🤣🤣
Forgot to say last night when i was on Zoom, consultant said new scanner is coming, just scan your food and tells you how many syns! The consultants have been trialing it and she said it's fab! Also it adds auto to your food plan if you want it too. So no counting syns, as done automatically.

I have had a bad day for food, not enough! 😂

3 boiled eggs and 3 peaches ALL day 🙄
but then had this lush tea, steak

    That sounds good bubbs.

My consultant has posted on our Facebook page:
We’re extremely proud to let you know that Slimming World is a key partner in Public Health England (PHE)’s groundbreaking new adult health campaign NHS Better Health.

That's good news for SW.  Perhaps we'll get lots of new posters on here!

Good to see you posting again MrsR. So sorry to hear about your bereavement. Glad  to hear the wedding went well. Wasn't it Valentine's Day?

You certainly got in plenty of Body Magic over the weekend coxy. Surely that's bound to use up some syns?

Plenty of Speed with all that roasted veg tete. You're really back on track.

I didn't know Ice cream made you tired ruby, that's a new one on me. I got the munchies last night too. I had 2 Ryvitas spread with some horseradish and slices of rare beef. Yummy! I make that less than 4 syns. We had our dinner earlier tonight because DH had a Zoom presentation to do about now. Hope that doesn't make me hungry later.

You seem busier now than when you were working bubbs. You should learn to  take it easy.  That scanner sounds useful if a bit scary.  Sometimes, I'd rather not know how many syns I'm having. I did read that GPs could prescribe SW but won't that depend if they can afford it?

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit , skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), 1 fried potato (F), fried veg, beetroot, pickled cabbage (S)
D- Aldi sausages, mashed potato (F), carrots, onions, cauli, broccoli, cabbage, kale (S)
    Syns- sausages 1, gravy 4?
