We ended up with fried up potatoes & veg instead of salad. Hadn't realised just how much was left over! Far more than needed for a Spanish omelette.
We've had rain this morning but dried up at the moment but it is getting very windy! Certainly wouldn't want to be out in it.
This morning on the news I heard them say "Slimming clubs" but on the radio when I was coming back from shopping they were talking to someone from the NHS who was talking about their 12 week weight loss programme. I suspect a lot of people will be referred to that. Wouldn't be for me though with all that calorie counting! SW is far easier and thus easier to stick with.

Thanks maman, I was really quite shocked after my indulgent Saturday - here's hoping it doesn't catch up with me too much this week. Just realised that we're out for lunch on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Not sure I can get used to having a social life again, it's all too tiring!
ETA - the whole Boris prescription thing sounds like it's one of those programs like Noom where they want to promote healthy habits and lifestyle changes rather than something like WW or SW which primarily focuses on weight loss.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -

Hello again all,
Just caught up! Sorry to hear you've both been poorly Sary and Ruby, hope you're doing OK and well done on the losses this week! As others have said Bubbs, 3lb is nothing to you, it'll soon be gone!
Denise - you made jerk chicken the other day and put "peas" in quotation marks - I'm intrigued...?
I've spent a bit of time over the weekend bringing my weight loss trackers and graphs up to date (and fixing my laptop so I could actually access the documents in the first place!). I've put on 11lb overall since mid-March, and my total loss since January 2019 is now 14.5lb. I'm still half a stone less than January 2020 so it's not as bad as it could be - trying not to think about how I was hoping to be almost at target by now"No one expects a global pandemic" to paraphrase Monty Python
I've signed up to another 6 months of SW, and worked out if I lose 1.75lb per week I can be at target by my birthday mid-Feb. We shall see how we go, that seems pretty ambitious at the moment! I've also started my Gold Body Magic award - I haven't been for a run in over two weeks so hopefully that'll give me a kick up the bum.
Anyway I'm feeling 'on it' at the moment, as evidenced by the plastic tubs of prepared fruit and veg in the fridge, I do need to do a little freezer inventory and food plan for later in the week though.
Today:
B - Cantaloupe and passion fruit
D - Fridge Surprise Soup - floppy veg: carrots, sweet potatoes, onion, leeks, bacon, and one slice WM bread no butter
T - 'Summery veg roast' - aubergine, courgettes, tomatoes, peppers and 40g feta, with couscous
HEA - milk in coffee, feta
HEB - bread
Syns - sugar in coffee (3), hot chocolate (2) = 5
Feeling peckish so going to put my veg in the oven and do a spot of yoga while it cooks!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb1 -
Tete - it's just that the Jamaican's call it rice & peas but it's actually rice and kidney beans! That's why I put "peas" in quotes
It was the Pinch of Nom recipe but to be honest the jerk wasn't that good! It was a bit on the sweet side and the rice tasted like pudding rice because of the coconut milk! It's the first time I've used the coconut milk in the rice and won't be using it again!

Oh! Haha I did not know that, thanks for the clarification, sorry to hear it was a bit of a dud!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb1

Think it's the worst PON recipe I've tried. They're generally quite good. Having said that I haven't used many of their recipes recently!
