Exciting news about the scooter denise, DH was looking at one for himself but I think has decided he's happy walking and public transport (within reason) when I'm not around to ferry him places.

Having the fabled KFC for dinner tonight which DH is very excited about.  We live a 15 minute walk from a KFC and McDonalds and can sometimes smell the fries cooking so hoping this can get rid of some of the cravings.

B - branflakes (HEB), skimmed milk (1/2 HEA), apple
L - Cheese salad (mixed leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, pepper, red onion, gherkins, cheese (1/2 HEA)), light salad cream (2 syns)
D - Fake KFC, SW style chips, salad, coleslaw (3 syns)

    Same here ruby! 😀

It's strange  but within a mile of where we live there is just about every take away you could think of  (probably because of  university) but I'm never tempted. One thing I've learned during lockdown is that it's not the food I miss most from eating out but it's meeting up with friends. If I ever have a CBA day or need  a meal in a hurry then I've got my HM ready meals in the freezer. When we got back from Petworth on Tuesday I had the chilli and rice on the table inside half an hour. 🙂

I've got to do my meal plan before I do my weekly shop. I'm all set with my masks. 😀 I've had masks in my bag for weeks just in case I was asked to wear one but never used them yet. I don't object to them but I think it'll be another reason for not patronising shops. I expect most people will just buy essentials (unless they go for online shopping) and get out ASAP. I think the days of shopping as an experience/retail therapy have gone or maybe just moved online. 🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- sardines (P) and beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, asparagus, courgettes, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- weekend wine 🍷😁

I think you're probably right about shopping moving online, although saying that we needed to go to the nearest big town as wanted to go to particular shops there which we don't have any nearer and the car parks were really busy even though it was only 9.30am when we got there so don't think the wearing of face coverings is putting everyone off.  I've made quite a few for DH and I but DH wants me to change the fastening on his - I've done ties but he's found them quite awkward to get on and off so wants me to cut of the ties and change it to elastic which goes from one side to the other - no good round the ears as my elastic is too wide!  also not easy when you wear glasses.

DH enjoyed the kedgeree so much this morning he said he'd be happy to have it as an evening meal as long as I made it bigger!  Think if I do that I'd add extra veg rather than just the onions and also serve some on the side would also add extra smoked haddock.  We don't have the boiled eggs with it when I do it for breakfast as DH isn't keen on them but I think I'd do boiled eggs to add to mine once it's on the plate.

No KFC here this week!  Hope you all enjoy yours tonight!

    Afternoon all D

I have had a busy and stressful day , went shopping this morning, went and picked the dogs up for my sister, as have them today/tomorrow and scraped my car up the wall 😥, i was so upset , rang DH up he said it's a car and can be fixed , don't get upset 🥰 which is true of course and no one was hurt, just my pride 😂

The weird thing is my sister said last night she had to ask the neighbours to move there car down as can't swing on the drive, today they have 3 there, then other side's car was there and one across the rd and i miss judged it!

So i get home, grab some yoghurt and strawberries, this is all i had till i just had my tea, which was late as yes we had our hair cut 😁😁😁😁 feels so much better.

I  have had KFC too, only just had tea as was late in cause of hair , i am just chilling for 5 mins and then will post my picture .
Denise my DH has a scooter but rarely uses it now as hate's going on the dual carriageway on it since work moved

As your DH says bubbs it's only a car and can be fixed and you are OK.  Suspect you were in shock a bit really.

Lovely pic of your sister's dogs!  The brown one looks like it could be quite mischievous!

Your tea looks good as usual!

Our carbonara was horrible - don't know what went wrong but the pasta was really nasty so ended up throwing it away and going to get a takeaway!  Half a week's syns no doubt - but haven't looked yet!  Had plenty of rice on my plate and didn't have much of the masala sauce as it was really sweet.  It's the first time we've used that takeaway and it will be the last, we weren't impressed at all!  My HM Indian is far tastier and usually syn free or no more than a couple of syns depending on what it is.  Wish there was a naan bread we could have as HEB, LOL!  Having said that I didn't actually have any and DH was good and only ate about half!

Oh dear, a catalogue of disasters. I think it's almost more infuriating to pay for a take away that's not worth the syns than to crash the car. 🤔🤣

Definitely a catalogue of disasters and definitely not worth the syns - or the money!  We'd actually said if it was nice we might book for a meal there but that definitely won't be happening!  Will stick to the Indian we've been to before.  It's more expensive but the food is definitely more authentic and I do think worth the syns!

Just spoke to my sister, she goes did you knock the wall down, i goes no i was reversing not racing 😂
The little brown one is Willow, she is afraid she will miss something, they are both as good as gold, you don't know you have them really. They never bark i have only ever heard Bramble bark once, never Willow.
