Those are some amazing bargains bubbs but also a bit too far for me to go also :)

I sometimes prefer some of the low / alcohol free wines GTQ because not only are they lower in syns but they also taste a bit fresher to me and I don't get as dehydrated with them.  It's the only way I can drink a bottle of wine now and still be able to function.  Just thinking of all the drunken nights out where I'd have that and shots and copious other things before hauling myself to a 9am lecture feeling fine just makes me feel sick at the thought of it now  :s

Pollo pesto was pretty good thanks maman.  Could have been more pesto-y but that's because I didn't add anywhere near as much as the recipe said to save on syns and would probably cut the bechamel down by a third as I didn't cook as much pasta as it said so had excess sauce.  Overall very pleased, will definitely be making again and even DH enjoyed and he's never had it before because the one in the restaurant comes with mushrooms and he hates them.

Just took delivery of my new nespresso machine and I am very pleased with it.  Will be making use of the extra HEA's now to make the odd latte or flat white so I don't have to have black coffee all the time.

No more caravan holidays for me - it's been sold!  Didn't get much for it though as the shower has been leaking so it was very damp and only useful for spares!  I would have had the fridge out of it for the motorhome but it was 1 cm too wide and 1 cm too tall to fit!  Really annoying as it was a much better fridge than the motorhome one!  Have now bought a scooter again so will be able to get out and about when we're away.

I absolutely hate the alcohol and low alcohol wines!  Doesn't seem worth drinking it, might as well drink lemonade!

Shame about the fridge denise but I expect you're glad to see the bed gone!😁
I can't be doing with alcohol free wine either. What's the point? If I go to a pub and want to stay alcohol free then I drink water. 😁

It's not a Must Have more a Deisirable to have a scooter beanie.  Motorhome's a bit big to drive into villages, particularly in France!  So it's nice to have the scooter in order to go and see places and also to do a bit of shopping if we need anything, although usually when we're in France we just park up the motorhome in a supermarket car park between stops.

Just realised you might be thinking I was talking about a mobility scooter but I'm talking about a motor scooter, like a motor bike!

Bubbs I’d never heard of that discount place, but I’m less than 30miles from Corby. In fact my sister works there and commutes from our town so will mention to her too. I was able to appt for membership due to where OH works. My sister will be able to apply too as her DH works in the haulage logistics industry.  Thanks for the tip!

work was mental today - only time to eat a bag of popcorn and drink 1 coffee all afternoon.

    Plan today:
    snack - banana
brunch - bacon medallions (picked up for £1 in Heron in the freezer section bargain), eggs, beans 1 x wm bread HEB
    snack - popcorn bag 4.5
    D - Lf sausages (4), mash, beans, gravy (1)

short on speed today so will make sure I have plenty tomorrow.  Feel like I’m just getting my head back on plan, but it’ll get better. Aware I don’t want to order in too much all at once and have waste - that’s often what I do going all gun-ho :D

so glad I don’t have to factor in alcohol syns too. Decaf Tea and coffee are my vices, especially now I’ve had to give up bagels.

One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

    Sary where are you ?
I am Northampton we might be neighbours 😂😂😂
It was amazing, well the card owner can take another person, then that person that is taken, when you buy something you get a guest pass that last's for 2 weeks and you can take a guest, then then next time you go you get another one, so providing you go every 2 weeks, once you have been a quest you don't actually need a card.
Bread was 10p, they have waitrose fresh veg, 50p, i bought but not for me a box of 9 12 pk mini cheddars £3.50 dated next year, a box of 48 white 4 finger kitkats £5 again not for me, dated nov, they have freezers , toiletries everything. But of course it's pot luck when you go , what they have

No need to apologise beanie; I wasn't exactly clear when I said scooter.  It's one of those things where the writer knows what they near but the reader wouldn't necessarily!

You are so right maman we won't miss the bed! and I'm quite disappointed we couldn't swap the fridges as the caravan went for scrap as there was apparently a lot a damp at the back; that didn't really surprise me as there was a bit of a problem with the shower tray that DH had to repair before we could use it - the tray had split over the winter while it wasn't in use so suspect there had been a small split which we hadn't noticed last year and water would have gone through and rotted the wood (why on earth do they make wooden frames for caravans?).

That's enough non SW stuff from me!

    Today's plan:

B - kedgeree (need to use up a piece of smoked haddock as had bought a 2 pack and only used one piece in the fish pie) - P; S; F
    L - jacket potato; beans; cheese; salad - HEA; S; F
    D - pasta carbonara - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - probably G&Ts tonight
