What are you going to do about the ice cream machines?  Bit annoying about the one not turning up at your DH's work today when you were expecting it.  Shorter hours don't help of course.

Is that the Promise rolls for the garlic bread?

The stories of the ice cream machines are like watching a soap! 😁🍧

I did a bit of a round trip for my shop today. I took bottles (many) to the bottle bank because they've stopped collecting for the past 4 weeks. Then I went to the town centre Sainsburys which is smaller than the local one.
Like chieveley said it was much quieter with no queues. Then on the way home I did my weekly Aldi shop. Plenty of meat choices but lots of missing vegetables. They were also just restocking the eggs!😁

I know I'm a wimp denise but I'm afraid of using a pressure cooker. I've got 2 tins of butter beans left then I'll cook some dried ones. I do mine on the hob and then freeze in portions. 🙂

I'm having wine syns tonight.😊 I know it's not the weekend yet but I fancy a treat. It's not bad considering I haven't been to a pub or a restaurant since 12th March.
    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage, HEA1 milk
L- bacon and veg omelette (P, S) with pickles (S)
    D - SW Bolognese (P, S), spaghetti (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - wine♥️🍷😁

Problem with doing dried beans on the hob is they take so long!  Having said that I think butter beans are actually better done on the hob because they always seem to get really overcooked in the pressure cooker, even when you only do them for about 10 minutes and then slow release, you can't do a quick release as they then bung up the workings and is a pain to clean!  The electric one isn't as bad as the hob pressure cooker because it's a lot quieter than the hob one.

I did double the amount of the 10 bean mix so have another lot in the freezer.  I also made double the amount of goulash so there's another meal ready to go into the freezer as well.  It's the first time I've actually frozen the beans on their own so hoping they'll be OK, particularly as they were a bit overcooked.  The goulash made with them turned out OK so fingers crossed!

Decided against ice cream tonight!  It's still raining and the freezer is outside and I don't want to get soaked getting it out so will wait until tomorrow (assuming it isn't pouring with rain again, LOL).

Contact Amazon.  They usually say to just keep it and not bother returning it!  It's what's happened to me in the past.  At least that way you won't feel guilty about keeping it.

I doubt they will say that, it was expensive!

Give it a go bubbs, honesty is the best policy. 😁
There was a woman in front of me in the queue at Sainsburys today having a right old moan because they wouldn't refund something she'd bought yesterday. (From 2m😉),it sounded like she'd bought some children's clothes and was getting a different size today. Apparently it's company policy presumably because they don't want stuff back that's been out of the store. Or it might just be workload but they weren't busy.

DH just appeared for dinner and was aghast that I was having wine on a Thursday!! 😁
