So our big Tesco was so quiet after lunch we dashed straight in no queuing- so mum has no lettuce, what they had were slimy so would not last, not new spuds, went round twice. Woman taking ages at the cheese stand some people just barged by her, when I got my turn none of the required cheese. On a personal note the scales were heading in the right direction this morning Anyone subscribe to that idea that if you loose weight someone else in the family gains? DH husband has found 4 lbs since lock down.

Contact Amazon.  They usually say to just keep it and not bother returning it!  It's what's happened to me in the past.  At least that way you won't feel guilty about keeping it.

I doubt they will say that, it was expensive!
Give it a go bubbs, honesty is the best policy. 😁
There was a woman in front of me in the queue at Sainsburys today having a right old moan because they wouldn't refund something she'd bought yesterday. (From 2m😉),it sounded like she'd bought some children's clothes and was getting a different size today. Apparently it's company policy presumably because they don't want stuff back that's been out of the store. Or it might just be workload but they weren't busy.

DH just appeared for dinner and was aghast that I was having wine on a Thursday!! 😁
Yes at the moment alot of people are not accepting returns, i will wait and see if the other one turns up first otherwise will end up without one again 🤣🤣 that would be my luck!

Hello everyone. I'm hoping that some of you might be able to help with some not too complicated recipe ideas. I've got a big tub of fat free fromage frais to use up, I've just had pepper sauce so anything apart from that. Thanks for any help.

  • Hello! Long time no post :(.  I've put on a stone so I joined online a week and a half ago and have lost 5lb so far.  I have asked for my membership to be changed to a local group though mainly because it will give me some contact with the outside world.  I love the breakfast pictures you've been posting, I am going to have some of them for my tea.  Hope it's ok to come back xx
Weight loss 6lb/16lb 10lb to go
I spend an insane amount of time wondering if I am doing it right, sometimes I remind myself that I am doing my best....and that is enough

Morning all.  Woke up early this morning, about 6 so tried to get back to sleep but couldn't so gave up after about half hour ingot up.  Had a lot of rain last night and the ground was still really wet this morning but drying up now because it's really windy.  Would be a good day drying the washing but I haven't even got a machine load in the basket for a change!

Need to pop out later to the butchers to get some eggs as they hadn't come in yesterday morning as they usually do.  Bought my meat yesterday so no need for more meat.

    Today's plan:

    B - stuffed mushroom - portabello mushroom; couscous; mushroom stalk, pepper, tomato, spring onion, topped with onion & chive cottage cheese - S; F;
    L - cheese salad roll - HEA; HEB; S
    D - baked haddock fillet; SW chips; peas - P; S

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - none planned as went over Syns last night

    Denise
