To be honest I was surprised as the yoghurt starter I used has been open for a few days so wasn't sure whether there was enough live culture in it to work! Have you ever frozen the really thick Greek yoghurt? I wondered whether it might be a bit too thick for the paddle to cope with.
Denise
Yes i use aldi ff Greek yoghurt, it is awkward to get in the little hole though because it's thick , this is the one i think tastes like Mr whippy, so i use a teaspoon to put it in and try and push it off the wall of the bowl with it tooSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1 -

Not seen sary or beanie or tweets for a while, hope they(and others) are coping OK?I'm still lurking, but eating is way off-plan, so do not feel it appropriate to contribute too much. Still keeping an eye on you lot though

Thanks bubbs. Was just thinking I might be able to use a disposable icing bag to get it into the machine if it's too thick to pour. What do you think? Thought I ought to add I buy them for when I make cannelloni as it makes the tubes much easier to fill than trying to do it with a teaspoon, LOL!
We do miss anyone who isn't posting sary. Do you think it might help you a bit if you did post, even if it is off plan? We all fall off the wagon at times! Think it's much harder for quite a lot of people at the moment, although it's getting a bit easier now that the shops are getting their stocks back up to a more normal level.

The frozen yoghurt didn't work! It was in for over 30 minutes and still liquid! Think it was runnier than when I poured it in, LOL! Will have to buy some yoghurt tomorrow to try it again. The bowl has been washed, dried thoroughly and back in the freezer ready for another try tomorrow night!

I suspect it's because I needed to take it out this morning for about 30 minutes to cool the yoghurt down but it went back in straight after that, that was about 8am. It went back in again about 7pm tonight so I'll give it a go again tomorrow with some bought yoghurt rather than homemade.
