That's good bubbs.  Are you going to reorder?  Pleased to say my parcel arrived just before dinner so it's sitting on the floor for a couple of hours until I open it so no idea whether everything I ordered has turned up!

It's in the freezer now!  I'm making yoghurt overnight  :D.  Will try freezing some of that tomorrow, although from the instructions it looks like you can only make yoghurt in one bit and then in the other bowl (freezer bowl) ice cream or sorbet but will have to see.

How long have you got to wait for yours bubbs?

It's come as part of the ice cream machine!  There's 2 parts to it but only one main body so you can make yoghurt or you can make ice cream or sorbet.  Not how I read the description!  It's labelled as a frozen yoghurt and ice cream maker.

The yoghurt worked, sort of!  It's a bit thinner than I would like and also very mild.  I could strain it and get it a bit more like the greek yoghurt I used as starter but think it might be too thick to freeze if I do that so I'm going to leave it as it is and then I'll get the ice cream bowl out of the freezer later and turn it into frozen yoghurt for pudding today!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - P; HEA
    L - stir fry with LO roast lamb; noodles - P; S; F
    D - chicken chasseur, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - no idea at the moment
    Syns - 0!

Is that a burger in there as well?

To be honest I was surprised as the yoghurt starter I used has been open for a few days so wasn't sure whether there was enough live culture in it to work!  Have you ever  frozen the really thick Greek yoghurt?  I wondered whether it might be a bit too thick for the paddle to cope with.

What a good idea to get the ice cream/yogurt maker and experiment during the lockdown. I'm not really a fan but being able to try new things while you've got the time does make sense. I did my freezer inventory yesterday and I really must buy some more meat. I generally only stock up when I see something YS in Sainsbury's but at the moment I think I'll just buy in what I need. There is a small amount of ice cream in the freezer. I might persuade DH to eat it up. I might even help him as I can enjoy it with a liqueur poured over.

Not seen sary or beanie or tweets for a while, hope they(and others) are coping OK?

My menu today is a bit bean heavy but I'm sure we'll survive. I'll add carrots, onions, leeks, mushrooms and courgettes to the casserole to get in as much Speed as possible.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- LO chicken (less) casserole (P,S) with pickled cabbage (S)
    D- sausage casserole (F,S) with tagliatelle (F)
    Syns- sauages 1
