The veggie chilli turned out to be 8 evening meal sized portions and 2 lunch portions to have with jackets so I'm happy with that as it was mainly veg in the fridge which needed using up plus some onions, garlic & tinned toms & beans which I already had.

Washing dried, folded and put away (I don't iron anything except DHs shirts but that's only really when we go on holiday as he doesn't tend to wear them any other time, but does like to "dress up" for dinner!).

Life's' too short to iron bedding bubbs. 😁

Like denise, I've done very little ironing during lockdown. DH has worn the occasional shirt (and trousers  ) for Zoom meetings but mostly it's just been a few tee shirts. I have ironed curtains and loose covers but that's hardly an everyday occurrence.

It's been hot and muggy here today but I've just been sitting doing some handsewing so hardly strenuous.

Veggie chilli is very versatile and very mse too coxy. Hope you and denise enjoy it.

Had a bit of an eggy day today but really enjoyed my omelette at lunchtime so worth it. Easy dinner so what's not to like.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- Aldi chicken curry (P,S), SW chips and HM pilau (F), extra veg (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1, Curry 1, weekend wine

Maman i couldn't get in a bed with non ironed bedding 😱😱
I like my pillowcases ironed, then folded and ironed, then folded again into a square 😂 I iron my tea towels the same 😁

bubbs life is definitely too short for ironing!  The only time I get my iron & board out is when I'm sewing; seams definitely sit better if they're ironed!  DH has never worn shirts for work, he's always done work where it's not necessary, even for meetings!  I think that's why he likes to dress up for dinner when we go on holiday which isn't in the motorhome or caravan!
