It's strange bubbs but the thread is quite like a RL group. We have a few regular target members and others who come and go. Some lose what they want and go. Some lose and then decide to go it alone. Others rejoin after a break if they start gaining again. Some start all guns blazing then give up because they think it's another diet. It's been exacerbated by lockdown because I think some people are giving themselves a break because they are finding coronavirus hard enough so doing some comfort eating. I'd love to see beanie and some of the others rejoin. They probably will. 🙂1

Definitely like a real life group with people coming and going. beanie is definitely alive and kicking as she's posting on other threads but you're right maman it would be good to see her posting again.
My consultant has posted on our Facebook page about groups restarting. We need to PM her to let her know what time we want to go into group - I'm not going to go to group so think I'll just message her and say I'm going to continue just texting her every 8 weeks with my weight. I think I've proved to myself I don't really need to go to group in order to stick to plan! I'm assuming that will be acceptable as there is no mention of what happens if you don't go to group. Anyone else's consultant posted on their Facebook page?

That's interesting denise. Is your consultant saying they're doing weigh and go but with appointments for WI? That seems a bit pointless for people who want the support of a group. I'd be surprised to hear from my consultant. I'll check SW website in case there's a national policy. Like you, I don't need a group (except this one 😉) to stay on plan but there will come a day when we have to have an 'official' WI to comply for website access. ☹️1

It's not really clear from the Facebook message but just tried to find it again to see what else it said but can't find the message again - can find loads of other SW messages from her but not that one! But from what I can remember it said something along the lines of there will have to be a one way system, there will be no raffle and no drinks (unless you bring your own) as no access to kitchen. From that I'd assume there is still going to be IT but not certain. I haven't looked at the website yet to see if there's a general message.
Might as well do my menu plan while I'm here!
B - toast & marmite; followed by watermelon - HEB; F; S
L - LO roast pork & salad - P; S
D - fish pasta bake; peas; green beans - P; S; F;4
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - cheese sauce 4; ice lolly 2.5

Buy cheap flip flops as we can't stand on the scales in our feet. Anyone with medical issues will be given flexibility, especially as there will be no toilets.A smile costs little but creates much1 -
Morning all. The changes to group sound a bit strange but I guess they're keen to get more revenue in and can only justify that through the face to face meetings.
GTQ, welcome to my world as I bloat and retain water like no one's business and can never really work out why unless it's that time of the month. Just keep chugging the water and the peppermint tea and you should be good.
The warm weather is starting to affect my appetite a bit - didn't have breakfast yesterday and can't really face it yet this morning either. Had a coffee and some water and will just see what happens - have planned something just in case I all of a sudden feel ravenous before 11.
B - Branflakes (HEB), skimmed milk (1/2 HEA), apple
L - Turkey salad (mixed leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, pepper, gherkins, beetroot, onion)
D - Loaded fries (SW style chips, peppers, onions, steak, HEA of light cheese spread)
S - Popcorn (3.5 syns)
