I use courgettes a lot just to up the Speed in recipes. For chilli and Bolognese I cut them into little matchsticks and I'd defy anyone to say they can taste them in the sauce. If desperate you could grate it.
Well done on your pound coxy.👋👋👋 If you stick to plan for the rest of the week, you might get away with your weekend treats. 🤔😉1 -

Oh hell, had a blowout on Saturday, having been so smug about not going for carvery on Friday, so being oh so good in the hope of maintaining. I was decorating the hallway on Saturday and made the fatal mistake of not eating, then being hungry and eating the world & his mother to make up for it. Felt really guilty, but then kept battling with how chuffed I am about finishing the hall, so conflicting emotions. I WILL be good for the week!A smile costs little but creates much1

Morning all. May or may not have eaten the last 2 homemade scones yesterday evening just to get them out of the house. I've realised that I just can't have these things in the house because I can't do moderation at the moment. I'm hoping that in time I'll get there but at the moment I just can't deal with it so it's no more treats in the shopping for me. Drawing a line and back on it today.
B - Branflakes (HEB), skimmed milk (1/2 HEA), apple
L - Cheese salad (mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, carrot, pepper, onion, gherkins, beetroot), 1 HEA cheese
D - Chicken Dhansak (5 syns), rice, broccoli
I'm also trying to clear out the freezer and found some leftover chicken dhansak in there from an Indian takeaway a few weeks ago. It's definitely not a full portion but I'm counting 5 syns just to be on the safe side. Hope you all have a good day, I'm off to get my haircut finally tonight for the first time since October!

I just don't have treats in the house apart from crisps for DH because I'm not fussed by them. I might eat one or two but I certainly wouldn't eat a whole bag. Glad to see you've drawn the line ruby and back on it today. I drew the line after Sunday, so a week off plan while on holiday. Finished on 4 syns yesterday as had a couple of Lotus biscuits with my last cup of tea yesterday evening.
Been shopping so now have some fruit and veg. Planning on getting the SC out tomorrow and cooking some savoury mince and then the day after I'll do a veggie chilli and portion both for the freezer.
Today's plan:
B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
L - corned beef & salad sandwich - HEB; S; 1.5 (1 for corned beef & 0.5 for LTL mayo instead of spread)
D - marinaded beef casserole (from freezer); mash; green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - corned beef 1; LTL mayo 0.5
