I manage with 2 under the counter freezers and an under the counter fridge. It's a bit of an art form fitting everything in but I can do it with weekly meal planning. I don't know how denise manages a month and so many varied meals . Respect. 😁

That is effectively what i have, 1 under counter inside and f/freezer in the shed, but i like to have meat in mine, don't buy frozen veg only peas

I only have meat and fish in the freezer if it's YS, otherwise I just buy what I need mostly from Aldi although I do split and freeze bigger packs as it's just 2 of us.
I have some frozen veg. Leeks especially but a few other bits too as they do the multi offers in Farmfoods. 

The rest is frozen HM ready meals and sides like the red cabbage and swede and carrot mash as it's so much easier than cooking fresh each time.

Then there's some bread as we always make toast from frozen. I'd never get through a loaf a week. 🙂

That looks worth a try. I've had the Lidl pulled beef. That's 1.5 syns too but only a 380g pack and it shrinks to a measly portion when cooked. ☹️ I've only bought it when it's on offer.

Morning all.  Have decided it's the bed in the caravan rather than the walking that's making my legs hurt! as I had trouble sleeping again last night because of the pain, although now I've been up a while they're not feeling so bad.

bubbs we're at a very small campsite in Kent, just 5 caravans or motorhomes allowed and it's been full every night apart from Wednesday night when one motorhome left but another caravan was in it's place Thursday!  We've decided to go home today rather than staying until tomorrow as we could really do with a decent night's sleep so we're just going to have some breakfast, tidy up and put stuff away where it should be so we'll be home by lunchtime.  Will need to pop to the shop later as well unless I've got a spare loaf in the freezer (I can't remember if there is!) as we're completely out of bread apart from a couple of crusts which I don't eat anyway.

I haven't done a month's meal plan this month maman just a couple of weeks because of being away.  I've planned today and tomorrow but after that no idea yet!  I need to check what's in the freezer and cupboards to do the rest of the month.

I've got a chest freezer outside and a f/freezer inside but I'm thinking about changing the chest freezer for 2 under counter sized freezers for outside as it would be much easier to see what is in there!  My inventory doesn't always get updated every time I add or take something out so is never truly up to date.

I always keep a good selection of frozen veg as find it far less wasteful.  We probably have more fresh veg in winter as we eat a lot of stews.  In the summer I mainly buy salad stuff, carrots and other root veg occasionally like swede if I can get it also buy stir fry veg packs sometimes.  Cabbage is something else that is always fresh as that keeps well.

Today is actually on plan!  

B - fry up with sausages
L - cheese on toast 
D - as we're going home it'll be a roast with duck breast!

Oh that's a shame Denise but least you know what it is.

I know things get lost in a chest freezer but i would prefer too undercounter , they don't pack as well .
Dunno if i said my niece tested positive for covid 😱 she works in a care home and gets tested every week, she is not poorly though , so the rest are in isolation and had tests yesterday, results back already and they are clear 😁 she has to have another test on Weds

Agree you can't get as much in under counter but it's far easier to see what you've got in there!  Being only just over 5' tall I can barely reach the bottom of the freezer so I try to keep like things together in carrier bags!  So chicken breasts/thighs in one bag, veg in another bag, beef in another, HM ready meals in another etc.  It's much easier in my f/freezer - top drawer veg; middle drawer meat & some HM ready meals; bottom drawer fish, some bread products like bagels (although most bread stuff is outside!)

You did mention before about your niece, glad it's not making her poorly though.  How much longer has she got to stay in isolation?

The rest are in isolation for 14 days , she has to go for another test Weds at work of all places and if it's clear can go back to work i dont get it if the other have to isolate for 14 days!
Also on MSN there is a leaked list of places for local lockdown, there town and ours is on it 😫
