Well done on the 3lbs ruby. That's excellent!

What's strange IIRC denise is that there isn't the same priority to have Speed food on the Green plan. I've always found that strange as it's essentially a vegetarian version of the plan?? There's a Turkish dish called Menemen which has peppers, tomatoes, onions and eggs. I've never fancied it as it looks a bit sloppy but it's popular at breakfast time. I'm envying you the egg and chips. I could make it for myself but it's easier to make the same thing for both of us and DH really doesn't like eggs.

The shin splints sound really painful coxy. Take care, don't push yourself too hard. How are you making your Sweet and Sour sauce? I made a sauce on Saturday and we enjoyed it over chicken stir fry. It's meant to be enough for 4 people (1.5 syns each) but we were greedy and shared it between 2.

I'm going to do chicken and chips tonight. We often have fish on a Monday but there's enough chicken left for both of us so I thought I'd be very mse. Usually I eat up any LO cold meat for my lunches or DH has a sandwich.

I probably have few, if any, syns left this week. after having wine with the football on Thursday. I'm maintaining rather than losing but I'm happy with that for the time being.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge and HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried potato (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, cauli steak, tenderstem broccoli, tomato, mushrooms (S)
    Sys- 0

Will leave the running for a couple of days. Have taken some pain relief and am working from the sofa whilst watching Wimbledon :)  Will let Federer and Nadal do the running  :#

You're right maman they're isn't the necessity for Speed on Green days but I do still like to try and get a reasonable amount.  Todays Speed is mainly fruit.  I might add some mushrooms and/or tomatoes with the egg, chips & beans this evening.  I can understand you not wanting to cook 2 different meals - I don't either!

I had far too many alcohol syns on Saturday when we had family over so I don't have hardly any syns left!  Probably got enough for a couple of syns a day but really must tot it up properly and work it out for tomorrow & Wednesday as planning on weighing Thursday before going away next week in the caravan.  I'm suspecting it will just be a Maintain but that's better than a gain!

Thanks everyone, I really feel like I'm on it now I've got back into the swing of things.  Love the look of the desert bubbs.

You know I said I bought some halo top ice cream so I could have a sweet treat in the evenings if I wanted it this week...ended up eating the entire tub last night  To be honest it took me to 20 syns so far for the week and since I only used like 37 last week, I'm not feeling too bad about it.

B - Porridge (HEB oats, 1/2 HEA unsweetened almond milk), strawberries, blueberries, 1 syn choc pot
L - Egg salad (mixed leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, peppers, onion, gherkins), 2 syns light salad cream
D - Ham, leek and mushroom pasta, 2 syns Philadelphia lightest, salad, 1/2 HEA Parmesan

Morning all, it's looking pretty miserable outside and still a bit windy.  Need to go shopping this morning but not meal planned from 1-5 July so think it's going to be a bit of reverse planning this week to use up some of the stuff from the freezer and if I see anything whilst shopping which is reasonably priced.  I've planned for our holiday week from 6-13th and have pretty much everything I need in stock.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese on toast - HEA; HEB; P; F
L - some sort of salad - still some hummus left and will buy some cold meat whilst shopping, possibly pastrami as really enjoyed that last week, perhaps some crab sticks and/or smoked salmon
D - beef casserole (from freezer); mash; green veg

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - hummus 2
