Wow bubbs that is definitely very hot. We finally got our motorhome back from the garage today after paying an arm & a leg for the replacement parts, labour, service & MOT! Temperatures in both the motorhome and caravan were that sort of level, it's a bit cooler indoors but not as cool as I'd like. It's still like sitting in a sauna almost!
Well I don't know what happened to the tuna I had in the freezer but it wasn't in there so guess we must have eaten it and I forgot to cross it off my list! So we ended up with salmon - doesn't really go with garlic & herb chips but was OK. Didn't have the courgettes after all just the peas and some frozen green beans.

Oh that's sooo hot and uncomfortable bubbs. It's pleasant here. We've not had any rain (yet) but there's a bit of a breeze. Fortunately I can get a through draught in my kitchen so it's OK for cooking hot food. 🙂
KFC has become a Friday night favourite here too. Mine's in the oven and will be ready soon. I do a weekly meal plan. KFC goes down first then I look at what's in the fridge and freezer. While some meals only vary a bit like choice of fish or what meat for a roast, others change each week. This regular pattern has happened a lot more during lockdown as I'm planning 7 dinners a week. If we ever get back to 'normal' then it'll change as we might even be out of an evening. 😁
The other change is that I'm not shopping around much and almost no YS stuff so meat, particularly, is very low in the freezer. ☹️1 -
My menu plan keeps changing at the moment - I've found that I've put a few things on the plan over the next week which aren't in the freezer or are things that DH isn't keen on. I was going to make some more liver parfait but DH didn't like it last time so I think I'm going to make some hummus instead, think it's probably less syns than the parfait anyway so it's a win win for me!
I thought I had another Normandy pork in the freezer and it was the last one the other day so need to find something for that night so I've either got to find something in the freezer or perhaps I'll make something like mixed bean goulash which is basically tinned stuff plus onion & garlic which I always have!
Next month I'm going to try and go back to doing weekly plans and hopefully I can make more use of the cheap deals in either Aldi or Lidl, depending on which town I go to for shopping! I've already done my meal plan for the week away in the caravan as that is mainly using cupboard stuff plus a few things from the freezer which I can fit in the little icebox, alongside the ice cube bag for the G&Ts - got to get our priorities right! There's going to be a lot of high syn stuff that week from what DH picked up when shopping in France and didn't get used! I'm glad I put them through the syn estimator before we got the new website and wrote on the lids how many syns as I still haven't managed to find it on the new website. I've even tried and search and nothing came up! Anyone any idea where it is now?

I don't know how to find the syns estimator the official way but if you put some nonsense in the food search box (like Boris 😉) then it gives the option of using the estimator. 🤣0

Maman cooled down now to 34 🤣🤣🤣
Denise didn't realise you had a motorhome and caravan , how lovelyI am not allowed to tow, would have to do another test, do you tow?
I have never had fresh tuna.
Did i say honeydew melons were £1 in Sains?
I am def spending more on food since covid as no really good offers on. DH was reading early of the panic buying again in Australia as they are locking down again, well think that's what he said about locking down, i wasn't really listening 🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

Seriously if you type in Boris into the food search, scroll through imperfect matches like Boots then it will give you the option of the estimator at the bottom. 😁1

Thanks maman I'll give that a try. I couldn't even find it on the search typing in Syns Estimator! Came up with various feature articles which were completely unrelated!
Yes bubbs I have a licence which means I can tow (grandfather rights - I'm that old! ought to be called grandmother rights for ladies, right!) but I don't actually tow. To be quite honest I hate driving and only do it when I absolutely have to. I used to drive more regularly before DH retired but now he probably does 98% of the driving!
I can't drive the motorhome as I only have an Automatic licence and it's a manual one. It's 4.5 tonne so if it was auto I'd be able to drive it for another couple of years but after that I'd need to have a medical to keep that bit of licence - you can only drive up to 3.5 tonne on a normal licence unless you have the medical but I won't bother because there is no way I'm driving that monster, LOL! DH takes it all in his stride as used to be an artic driver, a skip lorry driver, a dustcart driver and London bus driver so he's had licences for most vehicles! His last job involved fork lift trucks and 360 degree diggers - so another 2 difference licences. He's let them all lapse but will take the medical next year before he turns 70 so that he can continue to drive it. If it turns out he can't drive it then we'll need to get rid of it and get a smaller motorhome but we're hoping it doesn't come to that.
Oops that was a bit of an essay and not even SW related.
