Round 2 completed + WUDUPA second bowl of pots, put airer outside in the sun (which has now disappeared), reloaded the bowl, answered a phone call from S. answered a knock at the door - socially distanced Dad brought back the books he borrowed, found two painted stones on the doorstep - thanked J via fb.
Need to think about lunch now. We have what is known as dinner for tea at this house ie snacky midday meal, cooked tea. I can feel a fried egg sandwich yen.
Take care

Round 1 completed, plus 2nd & 3rd load in WM. Loads 1 & 2 are hung out. I have had some lunch, and may go to the allotment for an hour or so in the sunshine.
I spoke to a friend re the VE day 'street party'. The plan is to hang out bunting & have a picnic - everyone in their own front garden! We have never had a street party here (lived here 26.5 years) because it is a busy road. But this way, the street doesn't need to be closed anyway 😁 I am hopeful it will be a good community activity 😊 but we shall see!!8 -

Hello all,
Round - we ❤️ you too xx And all other flyladies, of course.
Piggers - that’s just funny!!
Guess what - 3 hours digging at the allotment this morning. I am even boring myself now. But all this digging has meant that slinky is 2lb lighter. Wooty woot! It won’t last, so I’m taking the win for today. I was in the wide awake club with you other lovely ladies last night. No particular reason (although I am stressing about DD’s hospital appointment on Wednesday which they said they would call about, and haven’t. I am going to cancel it tomorrow, as neither my or her anxiety is going to take this visit), so hugs to ASB and YL who have many more good reasons to be awake than I do. Problems and worries are HUGE at 2am.
Back to my reality - bathrooms need cleaning, but then tomatoes also need planting...hmmmm, which would I rather do....

1 load hung out.. I need to get my new pegs on the line.. I found 2 packs in my cupboard yesterday.. in my cleaning cupboard.. just shows how often I look in there I must have bought them over a year ago!
Waiting to hear from DD1.. she thought she might be in early labour this morning.. and I am on childcare duty.. then I can go out and get myself a virus once I'm no longer on standbyLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Yes YL, I am back in school tomorrow. Really don't want to go but I'm only on the rota to do one day this week and there are only a handful of students, but I'd still rather be here in my safe nest. How many people will develop agoraphobia as a result of this I wonder?Sunday dinner cooking, the children have set the table and are going to have a go at clearing up afterwards, we shall see! Then it's shower, fresh PJs all round, bags organised and a film I think xx9

Round - much better thank you - I think it's the stillness that's doing it but I went for a walk yesterday so that may have helped. Also delivered scones to friends. Am awaiting feedback.
Cleaned 'cake tin' shelf which is so high I keep stuff up there I don't need so often as DS spilt caster sugar. Anybody thinking that sounds familiar - yes - he did it not long ago...anyway I spotted that the jar of pickling vinegar I had been saving (for years, clearly) had a rotting top! It was very ood (which I hadn't realised) so top removed and jar rinsed. Kitchen stinks now lol. I've hemmed my grubby fleece (it's beginning to show it's age but it's my equivalent of pjs in the house) DS's GF washed up so I have dried and put away.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

My head has suggested we have a competition (like in another school) where the staff create a fine dining version of Beans on Toast.
This is my effort.
