Morning!
After a good start yesterday I totally lost the plot whilst making dinner as the tin opener stopped workingI am not normally a loose the plot over silly things but the current situation is getting to me a bit. We are starting to running low on everything and I can not go anywhere as I would have to take the kids (ds doesn't do supermarkets). Spent the rest of the day feeling really low and doing nothing.
We have just got up and had breakfast as ds didn't go to sleep until nearly 3am, although I feel like a bear with a sore head and really low still I am going to try and work my way out of the funk by taking it out on the house.
Todays List
Tidy the room of doom...I can't stand the mess any longer, you can't see the floor for toys and there are pots and food and allsorts of nastiness in there
Things left over from yesterday
The Bathroom part of today's list (did my living room study yesterday)
NB - before ds started to sound like a devil child, he has multiple complex special needs due to a genetic disorder. He just about manages under normal circumstances but at the moment he is completely lost and not coping at all.10 -
Morning.....I have been wrestling with myself here, as I have had shopping brought in for me with a lot of stuff I don't usually buy, and while grateful it's presented it's own problems in terms of building it into meal planning for health and storing it in quarantine order....not being in a position to give it away on free food websites (I don't want to be bringing strangers to my door social distancing or not) it has sat on my living room floor for 10 days with next to no flying done since it arrived.....full blown head in the sand. So I am going to do 30 mins WUDUPA, then I will get my head out of the sand and catch up with everyone s news on Fred then start trying to catch up on listy xxxThe cold never bothered me anyway7

Round 1 done, plus I have cleaned the patio doors & back door in and out, cleaned the sink & toilet in the utility room, wiped down the door and walls of paint spatter (DD2 has been painting, plus DH painting the fences - washing brushes- not very well - in the utility sink. Neither have cleaned up after themselves!! 🤬) and I have WULTD.
I have also hung out the washing and opened up the little greenhouse to let the plants breath. That's not a bad morning for me!!
Round 2
Lunch
Soak some sweet peas
Allotment time!
Hugs to Skinty and Meandthe2

Goodintentions I planted some sweat pea seeds in the kids old propogator last week, was I supposed to soak them? They were old seeds I found in the garage so not holding up much hope, especially as I didn't soak them. Also planted tomato and basil seeds I found so hopefully something might emerge.
Lunch eaten and cleared up
Washing now drying
Granny square crocheted
Time for coffee and chat with friend (via whatsapp)

Good intentions - Your biscuits looked AMAZING! Hope your DS is ok after the car accident.
Valli - that's funny about the student with a wine bottle. My sister is a teacher and she is finding some of the home cut hair styles rather amusing as lockdown continues. She's also found that her cat has become a star with her class as it keeps jumping on her laptop which they all find hilarious.
Narco - the flowers are all gorgeous .
Not a huge amount done from lists but I have been tidying and doing washes etc. More people have the virus in FILs care home so I'm kind of drifting around doing stuff. Need to think about getting a job at some point because if lockdown ends but social distancing remains till the end of the year I won't be able to re-open my business.
On a positive note, I had my guitar lesson via skype this afternoon and that always cheers me up
Hope people are having an okay day xx

Thank you GI for the hug, most needed today......I got washing up done, and sat done to work high carb/fat food into this weeks meal plan, so I just get it eaten and gone from the house so I don't stress over it. Macros and meds all recalculated, but I will have to eat very very tiny portions to make it work, so I will feel like I am starving, but at least the thats the decision made, 3 hours mental fluff, but procrastination over, I've got some bathroom cleaner sprayed round, so I will go wipe that around in a minute, then I will feel ready to tackle listy knowing I can have a nice bath afterwards xx
Very interested about wild garlic you ladies have been using...... I've found fennel growing in my garden, so I have had some in salad and omelette and made tea with it.....but I will have to look carefully, can't be risking food poisoning at this time....lolThe cold never bothered me anyway7 -
Good afternoon,
Hugs all round to those struggling for various reasons.
Work done, chilli in the sc, washing dried, bed remade with the freshly washed mattress cover, hair washed and forced out of ridiculous curls. For goodness sake, it was dead straight for the first umpteenth years of my life. I’ve given some of the veg plants a drink. Hopefully at the weekend, I can finish digging the allotment and get some of this stuff in the ground where it needs to be.
Mademoiselle - I just bunged my old sweet pea seeds in and hoped. They are about 6” high now. GI is right, but I just forget to do it properly until it is too late.
Right - DH is off the phone. I need to retrieve the laptop from the DR to read something for DD.7 -
Madamoiselle - they don't have to be soaked, but I think they benefit from it - when I remember! I have already sown some that I forgot to soak, but they haven't appeared yet, so I am trying some more!
I spent a couple of hours at the allotment and did some digging (in my no-dig allotment!! *enter face palm emoji*) it was hard work! It is like concrete, but I think I need to dig out the weeds.
I came home with 2 bin hags of weeds, so I must have achieved something!! I have cooked dinner, and put on the DW.
I think I will chill out now in front of the TV. Have a good evening everyone!

Hi all, food shopping/cooking/stock rotating is taking over all our thoughts a bit isnt it, and us Flyladies are probably much better at this than most. My brother tells me that some of his work colleagues either eat out, have takeaways or buy posh ready meals and never cook so they are really struggling.
A little hand holding may be needed. We had a phone call from hospital today .. DS has his PET scan on Monday. I have been happily ignoring this but in a couple of weeks we will know whether he is clear of the cancer. I really really don't want to know the results.
Tired tonight, busy day at the paid stuff, washing out, dog walked, very similar to yesterday except we had meatballs for tea! Time to put feet up and read I think.
