Narc0lepsy said:I'm looking at all dates, already have 28th booked so am trying for 10 days or so after that thanks. Last night at 11.45 a slot for today was available. It's just getting to be an obsession now, can't believe there are so many people needing food as I think of us as so rural. But nearest out of town Mr T is just under 4miles away and nearest town large.
We have 2 stores in walking distance and they are constantly rammed too.. fingers crossed for tonight x

Cushion pads (they didn't wash particularly well - clumped) stuffed inside cushion covers - which look VERY clean. I can live with that.
DS made a cake. It tasted awful and he opened the oven during cooking and sad isn't the word. Quite wasteful but a lesson learned, I hope. It's in the green bin.
Nipped to lidl fo icing sugar ( mid cooking - we were optimistic at this point and bits inc. emergency wine. Becuase he wanted my help and I was trying to wfh. There was me gloating because I don;t have little kids that need help. That showed me. There was no icing sugar in Lidl. Bought sugar though and I shall make rhubarb jam.
Am beginning to thing my big birthday party later in the year might not go ahead now...anyway it's nothing really. Knitting wise am halfway up 1st sleeve and patchwork project is beginning to formulate. Although I don't have a rotary cutter or cutting mat or square template thing.
YL - the collective power of Flyladies is willing an 'all clear' for DS.

YL - massive hand holding, hugging and general positive wishes coming your way lovely xx
Up and at em this morning. WM on, DW unloaded, just about to take the dog out. Drains seem a bit smelly, I'm guessing maybe the warmer weather? Hope so anyway! The weather is so lovely today we are not doing any learning, instead we will go for a huge walk when the shopping has been delivered this morning. Also need to sort out a chicken coop and run, I have been looking second hand but most are slightly rubbish condition, and need to be disassembled etc and taken away with a van, none of which I can do. A new one delivered to my door would be nicer!Back later have lovely days all xx8 -
Morning all,
Big hugs to you all especially YL
Thanks for info on sweet peas, gardening is not my strong point, I have a very big garden or rather live in a house with a big garden. I love sitting out in it but don't like or know how to garden. Unfortunately over the last few years it has got quite overgrown.
Today will be cleaning the dining room, crochet and maybe looking at the admin tray.
Bed made, clothes picked up
DW unloaded and re loaded
See you later7 -
Good morning all,
YL, all our FL vibes are coming your way. XBack later.6 -
Update from me, dog walked, washing on line, HM Yorkshire puddings in the oven to use up leftover batter, greenhouse opened xx7

YL, big (((hugs))) for you and loads of good vibes for your DS xx I'll be thinking of you all .
Another beautiful day here. I forgot to hang WMx1 on the line yesterday afternoon, but it was out by 6.15 today
The tomato seedlings that I pricked out yesterday are all standing up well, as too are the cucumbers and courgettes.
I have S&S'd kitchen and bathroom, tidied the LR, left my bed open to air, and still got a clear bed and floor in my study
Now to start writing about 50 individual thank-you letters to church members.
DH has a cardio scan and blood test this morning at the "clean" outpatients hospital. I shall have plenty of soap and hot water ready for his return.
My son bought one of these about 5 years ago - a bit more expensive than some, but they last for ages and generally need no maintenance apart from cleaning (use a hose). Or this company has useful information on keeping chickens and sells slightly cheaper wooden coops. Do be aware that moving the run round will eventually ruin your lawn - we had Marigold and Doris (my DGDs' hens) to stay for just a week, and it took me the rest of the year to get that patch of lawn growing again! I like the idea of standing the coop and run on a bed of wood chippings, but it all adds to the cost. Enjoy your hens - I wish I could get some.Deleted_User said:Also need to sort out a chicken coop and run, I have been looking second hand but most are slightly rubbish condition, and need to be disassembled etc and taken away with a van, none of which I can do. Good morning!
I am up, dressed & breakfasted. I have emptied the DW and restacked, put on WM. DD2 has already taken the dog out.
Round 1
Friday money juggle
Hang out washing
Check seedlings, water if necessary
That'll do for starters.
YL sending hugs, and positive vibes in abundance
